The home is in the quiet Joshua Tree Highlands, the most beautiful and convenient area in Joshua Tree. You'll be only 5 minutes from the national park entrance in one direction and 5 minutes from the town in the other direction. The town features many exceptional local shops and restaurants waiting to be explored, and the national park offers endless opportunities for adventure and exploration. The home is one of the few in the area on a paved road for easy access, yet has plenty of privacy and is surrounded by stunning scenery.
The property is behind a tall steel rust colored wall that provides privacy from the road. The accessible area for guests is about half an acre. The main areas guests can access are the cabin, porch, patio and natural landscape around the cabin.
There is a house on the other side of the property, which is available for booking separately or together with the cabin. The cabin and house have separate gates/driveways and maintain privacy from one another. Unless the house and cabin are booked together, access to the other part of the property near the house is not allowed (the areas are clearly marked).

Located right off Quail Springs Rd., the main road between the town of Joshua Tree and the National Park entrance, this cabin is only a 5-minute drive to either destination. Guests appreciate that it is on the main and hence no need to drive on long, bumpy dirt roads like most of the other rentals in the area. But the convenience means that you can hear the cars driving between the park entrance and town.

I would not recommend renting my home if you do not have a car although you can get get an Uber/Lyft from Yucca Valley or Joshua Tree if needed.
PLEASE NOTE - cabin is not set up for any major cooking but has a kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle & coffee machine or pour-over with fresh local coffee provided.
We encourage longer stays, the following discounts will be applied for stays of longer than 2 days:
3-6 nights - 10% discount

Wifi:
Fast and reliable for working from the cabin. I would not say it is blazing fast, but I have upgraded the cabin recently to have it's own dedicated internet service and guests say it works great for Zoom conferences, streaming, etc.
Pets:
We now allow dogs. Please adhere to the following rules:
- 1 pre-approved dog permitted per stay with additional $50 pet fee
- Must be house-broken/potty-trained
- May not be left on the property alone
- We suggest dogs to stay on-leash and supervised when in the yard for the protection of local wildlife and their own safety (dogs not used to the desert will get lots of painful spikes in their paws)

There is a security cameras to view the driveway. The camera CANNOT view anywhere that guests will spend time – indoors, front porch, or patio.
