This adorable cabin is straight out of Pinterest! Simple little home in the very best ways. Enter this cute home through the new addition that has a seating bench, a private washer/dryer, and adorable old-school lockers. Step into the kitchen that has plenty of prep and cooking space with beautiful appliances and prep the family meals while looking out the windows towards Wallowa Lake. The dining area is just past the kitchen which leads into the living room. The open floor plan of the home keeps everyone together during your stay.
The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a twin day bed. The bathroom has a large tiled step-in shower and is located between the two bedrooms. The bedroom on the left has beautiful French doors that open into the living room. The living room also has beautiful large picture windows that look out onto the wrap-around deck that boasts a propane firepit and plenty of outside seating.
A small yard is located on the end of the deck which leads you to the beautiful new sauna that has incredible views of Wallowa Lake also! Enjoy your own private boat dock during your stay at the Ottertail Cabin. Read a book, soak up the sun, listen to music, browse on your phone, however you choose to spend your days, this home will be intertwined with all the memories of your stay at Wallowa Lake.
THINGS TO KNOW
Seasonal private docks are typically placed for Memorial Day thru Labor Day. These are placed and pulled by a 3rd party and several variables come into play such as lake levels, snow and company availability. We do our best, but these items are non refundable items if a problem occurs with their timing of putting in the water and pulling from the water.
Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
Occupancy and parking can not be exceeded.
No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions but the propane fireplace is allowed.
Winter Rentals: We always recommend 4x4, chains or studded tires to get to our winter open houses. Some renters have better traction tires and can access the homes without them but we don't recommend it. Also, weather changes rapidly in our mountain location. We always suggest preparing for the worst. Also, many Les Schwab Tire Centers have the ability to purchase tire chains, and if you don't use them, will take them on return.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
