"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"It was a quick get away but very fun and relaxing. Family enjoyed the location as well as the remote location."

"This cottage is a short walk from the town square. The property has grills and a hot tub. There are areas to hang out both indoors and out. The property is fun to explore. Our infant slept soundly in the bedroom while we played cards outside or sat in the hot tub. The hot tub is within range for our video baby monitor. Some board games would be a nice addition to this space. This is a nice spot to relax and would be a great space for gatherings - particularly if you could snag other spots on...

"We loved our stay! The cabin was very clean and well maintained. We loved the location as it was very peaceful. This side of the park is much less crowded than the more well known areas. It was a long trip up a windy mountain road but totally worth it. The only downside we found was that the beds weren't firm enough but that was just our preference. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with and we would stay again in a heartbeat."

"To come back to relax, drink coffee, shower, and sleep.property owner is very nice but to be honest you never know they are there very respectful and let you enjoy and relax."

"My family, my son and his friend and my two beautiful grandchildren shared memories of previous trips to the Kern River with my husband at this beautiful home. The river was just steps away to enjoy. The house left nothing to want for. It felt like home. Thank you. Next time a longer stay"

"In the area for a funeral. The cottage gave us lots of room to be together and relax. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows, and plenty of plush bath towels. Kitchen was well-stocked. The unit had some cleanliness issues (dog hair, cobwebs, hair in shower), but otherwise was a perfect stay. "I usually travel with my best friend for my birthday weekend this year I wanted to make it a family trip to make memories with the grandbabies. This was a perfect place to do this. It is located at the top of the mountain so the view is amazing. Their is a game room that the grandbabies and all of us loved. Sunsets are amazing and the people around are so friendly. This I would say was the best trip and I'm excited to do it agian and we plan on booking this same cabin. Absolutely love this place"

"Great place to gather and stay after our daytime adventures around Kernville. We all agreed we'd stay here again anytime!"

"We had such a great time during our stay at this property! Our group consisted of three families coming together with kids of multiple ages. Everyone slept comfortably and there were plenty of beds for all! The kids enjoyed running around the grounds. They loved looking at the horses in the morning, playing on the zip line and taking dips in the hot tub in the evenings! This place is perfectly located within the town of Kernville. Thank you again for all of the fun!"

"Deer on front lawn comfortable space with a responsive host"

"Property was great. Plenty of information throughout the house identifying what was what and how to do various things around the house. If i had to complain about something would be that some newer mattresses in the main house would be ideal. I might just be getting old though lol. Pete was super helpful accommodating us staying an extra day. 10/10 nice guy"

Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY. And Im not the picky kind of person. I wikl give one example ( there were others ); inside the dishwasher, there were used dirty plates from someoelse. I rest my case. Would never stay again and do NOT recommend. By the way, we stayed thefe withiut even having checked in. When leaving, again thede was noone there and I just left the key there. It was already paid."
