"Overall, the property was enjoyable. Clean, nice appliances and kitchen utensils, good beds, and great water pressure in the showers. We couldn’t connect any of the TV’s the first night but was immediately responded to and fixed the next day. Check-in instructions were not given until the afternoon which was frustrating for traveling guests. The home is located on the corner of a busy street so one bedroom does get some road noise at night."

"You don’t get to stay at old houses nowadays, and , it’s unique experience for our family as we always opt for new things but I appreciate the stay and the effort of the owner to give that old world experience and the restoration! "We loved the little touches: beach towels, cork screw, coffee cups, fire starts (even though unused). Overall it was a good experience and we would recommend it to our friends. We would defined come back. Wished the wine glasses were plastic, y’all need a hair dryer, cozy chairs to watch the tv inside and more comfy chairs on the patio. (Something with a cushion. )"

We stay here a couple of times a year, and it's always clean, beds are very comfortable, and the staff is nice. The restaurant next door is really good, and convenient to walk or drive to."

"We had 10 women stay the whole weekend at the house. The house was warm all weekend but that was just because it was late August in Texas. There’s no real way around that. I would recommend this place 8 days a week except for late summer. But if you aren’t there the whole time then it’s probably not as bad.
