Pros: Large room, wifi is free, room is clean, good shower pressure.
Cons: Virtually no furniture in the room, hard thin beds, frequent power outages (two on our first night), only one plug (with two outlets) in the room and this is on the far wall from the beds, sometimes no hot water, no proper food service outside of breakfast, no vending machines, could not supply more than one room key card, paper thin walls can hear everything from above and outside, can hear constant noise from the old elevators, not on the beach, no proper work area in room, did not make up the room on one of the days I stayed, almost no staff speak English, terrible customer service, refused to honor room rate for an extended night which had been offered by the receptionist prior to booking (and this rate was available on hotels.com). This is basically a one star hotel, a bad 1970s Holiday Inn. Any used to a modern hotel (of Day's Inn quality or above) should avoid. Truly the worst hotel I have stayed at in the last 15 years (and I travel a lot, including to poor countries).
