Nestled in NY’s Adirondack Mountains, this beautiful cabin the woods has fantastic amenities! Our home is walkable to hiking trails and a 5-minute drive to Lake Eaton, tennis courts, playground, and more, and a few minutes further to Lake Everest, Whiteface Mountain Ski Area, and Lake Placid.

Dog-Friendly (maximum of 3 dogs)! We do not allow cats or animals other than dogs.
We have 11 homes located within minutes of each other, and some are on the same street, making our homes the perfect getaway for family and friend gatherings, reunions, or lodging for small corporate events.

Open Floor plan in a bright, modern Adirondack Style. 2 bedrooms have their own private balcony; the elegant, fully equipped eat-in kitchen has stainless steel appliances, gas stove, utensils, glassware and dishware; the living area has comfortable furnishings around the floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace.

One of the 3 bedrooms is located on the main floor, convenient for those who may have difficulty climbing stairs, and a great option for families traveling with elderly parents or anyone with limited mobility.

The Recreation Room on the lower level features a Foosball table and large Smart TV.
The spacious outdoor deck has a Trex dining table and chairs and more seating.
Just off the deck, is a luxurious 5-person hot tub and firepit.

There are plenty of activities minutes from our home - bring your gear for cross-country skiing, fishing, tennis, basketball, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, and more! You are also close to downhill skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming, other water sports, and shopping, dining, sporting, and cultural attractions. The Ironman competition passes right through the town of Wilmington and Lake Placid and you are just 12 miles from Whiteface!

ADK Cabin is your dream vacation home nestled in the woods of Adirondack Park with amenities galore. This luxurious home is equipped with amenities to relax, have fun, and enjoy quality time with family and friends. The home sleeps 10 guests. There are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. 10 guests will sleep comfortably in 4 bedrooms (5 beds). There is also a Queen size pull-out sofa in the Rec Room.
As you step into our home, you'll find hooks for your coats, a large bench, and boot trays. A full-size washer and dryer are available for your convenience.

From the entryway, you will pass into the spacious, light-filled kitchen featuring a stainless refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and gas stove. The natural pine ceiling creates a warm and inviting atmosphere and black wood cabinetry complements the modern farmhouse decor.
Gather around the dining table and take in beautiful views of the surrounding woods through the large thermal pane French door that leads out to the large deck. You'll delight in the peaceful setting and natural beauty that surrounds you.

The kitchen opens into a stylish living room featuring stunning wood accents, vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace with wood mantle, and comfortable leather furniture. The sofa, loveseat, chair, and window seat are perfect for snuggling up in front of the fire after a day of adventure.

The Smart TV enables you to stream your favorite programs. Take in the beautiful natural light from the vaulted ceiling with skylights as you relax in this warm and inviting space with pine ceilings and floors. The French door leading to the large deck allows you to enjoy the outdoors while taking in views of the surrounding area.

Just off the spacious living room, you'll find a small hallway that leads to a linen closet, a stairway to the lower level, the first bedroom, and a conveniently located full bathroom. This main floor bedroom is conveniently located for those who may have difficulty climbing stairs, making it a great option for families traveling with elderly parents or anyone with limited mobility.

As you step into Bedroom #1, you'll take in nature from the thermal pane French door leading to your own private, covered balcony. Enjoy your morning coffee from the in-room coffee station! The room is furnished with a queen bed adorned with a tasteful quilt and pillows for a restful night’s sleep.

The main floor bathroom has a large jetted tub, perfect for a relaxing soak. There is also a stall shower, sink with storage space, and hairdryer for your convenience.

Just off the living room is a staircase leading to the 2nd floor with two additional bedrooms and another full bathroom. Bedroom #2 is stylish and comfortable with its knotty pine shiplap-style walls and furnishings. A dresser and large closet provide ample storage for clothes and personal belongings, while the comfortable Queen bed is perfect for a restful night's sleep. French doors lead to a private, covered balcony and offer beautiful views and a peaceful spot to sip a morning cup of coffee (an in-room coffee station is provided!).

Bedroom #3, also located on the 2nd floor, features a King bed adorned with cozy quilts and pillows to ensure a restful night's sleep. There is also a desk with chair for remote working.

The full bathroom on the 2nd floor features a tub/shower combination plus vanity with storage space and hair dryer. The skylight allows natural light to flood the room.

Bedroom #4 and the recreation room are located on the lower level, accessible from the stairs just off the living room.
The spacious bedroom is thoughtfully designed with two Queen beds, closet and dresser.

The rec room is an additional hang-out area and great space for families. The room has a foosball table and large Smart TV.

A pack-n-play is provided for your convenience and a high chair is available upon request. All linens are included. The main floor and 2nd-floor bedrooms and living room have air conditioning units.

Wireless internet and a landline for local phone calls (USA only) are conveniently provided. Long-distance calls are not included. You may use WIFI apps for long-distance or video calls.

For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th, we are pleased to provide the main and upper-level bedrooms and the living room with air conditioning units

The following items are minimally supplied (enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bedsheets, quilts, pillows, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We supply salt and pepper but do not supply other kitchen spices, condiments, hand towels, beach towels, shampoo, or charcoal.

The outdoor living space at ADK Cabin is sure to please with a large deck that features a Trex dining table and chairs, providing the ideal spot for al fresco meals and enjoying the surrounding woodland views. With the home on a quiet 1-acre property, guests can enjoy tranquility and scenic views.

Out back, luxuriate in the hot tub where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding woods. The property also has a fire pit and seating to enjoy roasting marshmallows or sharing stories under the stars.

Our home is situated just 13 miles from Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, a half-hour drive from Lake Placid, close to Lake Eaton, and within walking distance of 10 miles of hiking trails varying from relaxed beginner trails (including a trail that surrounds the lake) to harder climbs. Lake Eaton is within the Ausable Acres community and has boat access (kayaks and canoes) and fishing. Bring your gear for Pickle Ball, Bocce Ball, Tennis, Basketball, and Volleyball. The grounds have a pavilion with picnic tables and grills, a ball field, and a playground for kids. Trails can be used for hiking, mountain biking, or cross-country skiing.

Our home is close to Lake Everest in Wilmington, which has a beach for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. In winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. There is also a picnic area, pavilion with live music during summer and a playground! For easy scenic hikes in Wilmington, be sure to visit the beautiful Flume and Hardy Rd trails.

Whiteface Mountain has the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies and boasts over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails, and 11 lifts. It features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders to expert glades and slides for the advanced. In summer, Whiteface offers splendid views, gondola rides, mountain biking, and more.

Lake Placid is a charming, all-season resort town with a Main Street, unique shops, restaurants, sporting and cultural events, a movie theatre, mini-golf, and a waterfront park. The town also has supermarkets and other conveniences.

Adirondack-Vacation rental homes are kept in peak condition, and the owners and rental team take tremendous pride in ensuring they are perfect for each guest's vacation!

Select USA & Canadian holidays are subject to a 3 to 5-night minimum stay, otherwise there is a 2-night minimum stay. Pricing includes nightly rent, cleaning fee, Damage Protection Policy fee, and 5% Essex County bed tax. The Damage Protection fee covers accidental damage to furniture, appliances, electronic devices, windows
