GLORIOUSLY PRIVATE .... TUCKED INN at BIG CANOE - NORTH GA MOUNTAINS!

Quiet and nestled up above 2000’ elevation, Tucked Inn at Big Canoe is a perfect couples get away. Newly renovated, this cozy 1 bedroom 1 bath studio apartment located in the private resort-like community offers a queen-sized bed and a queen-sized sofa sleeper. Private self entry with keyless code access.

The kitchen is stocked with all the tools you will need for preparing meals indoors and offers an eat in bar for two. For outdoor cooking, enjoy the Blackstone griddle located on your private deck with outdoor seating for four. Dining at Big Canoe Clubhouse/ Restaurant is always a delicious option.

Big Canoe offers 8000 pristine acres of beautiful meadows, mountains, streams, and waterfalls and is filled with wildlife (deer, squirrel, chipmunks, wild turkey, a variety of birds, fish and black bear!). Venture out into the well-maintained and marked hiking trails, waterfalls, 4x4 driving trail, designated play areas for kids and 5 lakes. The Marina at Lake Petit offers pontoon, Jon boat, kayak, and paddle board rentals. As well, the 100+ acre Lake Petit is stocked with rainbow trout, bluegill, bass, crappie, and brim (with fishing gear available for rent). You can pay as you play at many of the amenities including fishing, boating, swimming, a rockslide, 8 outdoor and 2 indoor tennis courts, 3 championship golf courses, pickleball, bocce, fitness center, 2 outdoor swimming pools and an indoor pool. Weekly church services are held at the Big Canoe Chapel.

Completely relax outside the studio amongst the thick layer of hardwood trees and along the streams running through the property; at night, the sound will lull you to sleep!

About Big Canoe: A current driver’s license will be required to enter. No motorcycles or ATVs are allowed. Hunting and outdoor fires are strictly prohibited.

About Tucked Inn: We have no pet, no parties, and no smoking policies.
Upon your arrival, we will provide a listing of all amenities within Big Canoe and a guide of things to do outside of Big Canoe as well. Feel free to visit www.bigcanoepoa.org for more information.

To help you enjoy your stay, we have also provided walking sticks, binoculars, a bug box, Enos, picnic basket and supplies, beach towels and toys, and board games for your use. Wifi and Netflix are available for your pleasure.

Stairs are required to enter the property. Covered parking is available for one vehicle only. Host is onsite. Exterior cameras are at driveway.

Great stay
The property was beautiful and hosts stocked us with coffee, some snacks, clean towels and blankets, etc. they had an ice storm right before we arrived and They made sure the driveway was clean and easy for us to get in and out of! Great stay overall, will definitely be back!

Secluded, Apartment just right, Deck out in Nature, in the trees, above a ravine with a small creek.
It can be the destination! You really don't have to leave if you bring food in when you come. We did trail in Big Canoe and went out because there are so many pretty places close by.

Beautiful Mountain Location
This small apartment in the beautiful north Georgia mountains was the perfect place for a few days away from the usual. It was convenient to several outdoor area we wanted to explore. It was quiet and private, and the apartment was clean and well supplied. I'm already thinking about when I might be able to return.

It was amazing! The property manager, Tammy, gave a detailed description of the ride in and of the cottage. I was very please to find much more. The attention to the details in all of the amenities let me know that she cares about her customers.

Me and my wife booked this studio cabin for 4 nights. The check in was easy, the cabin was clean and very nice, and it came with more amenities than I expected. We had a wonderful stay at big canoe. There was so much to do, we couldn’t do it all in just 4 days. Highly recommend

What a gorgeous location. Every morning was breathtaking on the porch. We slept with the windows open so we could hear the stream flowing in the back yard. The cabin was a perfect size, tidy and equipped with all we needed. The host was so kind and offered great directions

High Altitude
It was a very peaceful getaway from the city. I think we are a little out of shape to fully enjoy the studio and the areas points of interest. With proper preparation this area and Tucked Inn would be a wonderful place for a young couple to enjoy fully. The ride from the property gate to the top of the location of the property is very beautiful yet harrowing to those that are getting perhaps a little too old to drive as well as they used to. We saw a black bear and several dear as well as lots of blooming native flora. The host seemed kind and did not invade our privacy at all. I hope that others that visit will be able to enjoy and appreciate nature and the opportunity to stay in someone else’s cozy cabin at a very reasonable cost. I’m glad we were allowed to spend a few days there.
