Spacious 4BR House on Golf Course in The Plantation w/ Oceanfront Pool

This bright and airy home nestled among huge live oak trees boasts nearly 3000 s.f. for your privacy, solitude, or family gatherings. It’s all on one level with two bedrooms on either side of the main living area (1 king , 2 queens and 2 single beds) . Gourmet kitchen with all the extras, stainless appliances & granite counters will let you cook up your own Amelia feast! Hardwood floors, tiled baths, jetted tub, full cable TV in family room and all bedrooms, huge outdoor deck with comfy furniture & gas grill. A short distance to the beach and right on the 14th hole of the Oak Marsh golf course in an exclusive gated resort community. Professional pool table , wine bar, wi-fi throughout. The house also features bed linens, bath /beach towels, beach chairs (8) , bikes (8), kayaks (4) , paddle board (1) , golf clubs ( 2 ) sets , a golf cart ( an additional golf cart if a backup is needed) for exploring the serenity of the Plantation . All of this is located within walking distance of the Marsh Creek golf club, range and Walker's Landing along the Intracoastal Waterway for gorgeous sunsets and kayaking. Full guest access is also provided to the oceanfront pool complex (in picture selection) at nearby Golf Club of Amelia at Summer Beach, a short drive , just south of the Ritz Carlton. If the dates ( more than 7 days) contemplated are off peak please contact us to discuss a discount . Holidays , spring break , June, July and August are typically peak rental times and require a minimum stay of 5 days but will consider 4 as well .
( note) the home above is a second home as well rental , there maybe personal effects in closets as well condiments in the refrigerator .

Excellent experience!
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. The owner was more than gracious, giving us a few extra days because the rain from a hurricane delayed our golfing. Could not recommend more highly. We will be back!

Very nice property on golf course; golf course is under construction but we knew that in advance. The home is very well appointed and stocked. Love Amelia Island and hope to return in the near future!

Family comforts
The property was very family-friendly. It contained lots of extras like 10 bicycles and a golf cart that was easy to use. The Summer Beach pool had a great workout room. The grill at the pool was also better than expected from the house you can bike for miles and miles and miles all fun all nice no big hills easy to do, Bill was very easy to work with and check in was as easy as entering in the code that he gives you in the front on either the front door or the garage. There were lots of personal items since this is also their second home, but we didn’t mind one bit. It was very comfortable , we just moved items like extra alcohol and beer and such over to the side used our own and then put his back in place just like I would if it was my brothers house. Another great bonus was that the grill outside was practically new and we were easily able to cook 12 large hamburgers all at the same time. We can’t wait to come back at sometime when the golf course that it overlooks has its renovations complete thanks again to Bill for sharing his wonderful vacation family home.

My parents (70+) and I stayed here during Spring Break. We've stayed on Amelia Island a few times at other condo properties. This house was inside the plantation. A few things that I think people should know: The beach and pool are not within walking distance or even golf cart distance. You will have to drive. The furniture is very outdated. The leather couch looked like many animals had torn it up. 90% of the furniture in the living room was stained. The fabric of the furniture in the bedroom was held together by duct tape. The refrigerator and freezer contained lots of food and condiments. Some people may find that complimentary. Some guests may prefer a clean refrigerator. For the price, I do feel that the inside of the house should be in better condition. It was clean, the bathrooms were remodeled and well stocked. But overall it felt a little dingy and dusty.

This was the second time we stayed in this great home . The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful and we had plenty to do: walking, biking, kayaking, pickle ball etc with the provided equipment . Everything for a day at the beach is available: beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. The house is spacious with several areas to relax and a beautiful deck. Hoping to come back again !

Wonderful Amelia Island Resort Home
My wife and I had the privilege of staying in this beautiful Amelia Island Omni Resort home located on the golf course. The house had everything we needed to make our nine-day stay feel as if we were right at home. The house had an outstanding deck in the back that had a beautiful and peaceful view of the golf course. The location of the home was perfect for early morning and afternoon walks. Just a short walking distance to Walker's Landing where we watched the sunset each evening slowly sink into the marsh. We have already reserved this home for two more stays over the next few months. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for total relaxation in a beautiful environment.

Beautiful and peaceful setting
Our group of 8 agreed it was the best location we’ve had in our 10 yrs. of beach vacations. The neighborhood was quiet and lined with beautiful trees, providing plenty of shade. The home had every amenity we could want, and all of good condition. Bikes for all ages, helmets, kayaks, golf clubs, golf cart, pool table, books, games, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and more. The layout of the house worked well for our group from 8-70 yrs. of age. Two separate gathering spaces was nice so we could spread out. The table sat 10 people comfortably. The owner was quick to respond to any questions, and info regarding check-in was thorough. The refrigerator, freezer, and cabinets had a good bit of items in them already, and it was a tight squeeze for the foods we brought to cook three meals daily for the week, but it worked. I have no hesitation in renting again next year and hope to do so!

This is the second year we've stayed at the property. It is very spacious roomy and very perfectly located to the beach. The host has two golf carts which makes it very easy to get around the property and the security is wonderful

Much Delayed Family Vacation
Hurricane Ian interfered with our original rental of this property. And the owner let us reschedule for early April. The house was lovely, and big. The pool table and deck were a definite hit. It took us a day to figure out the lights though--there's very controllable lights and switches are everywhere. Just keep trying . Our biggest problem was something the property couldn't help: Location. We had a golf cart and supposedly beach and pool access, but the gol cart could only go to the Omni and neighborhood. While we had beach and pool access, we only had one pass and you had to drive to the Summer Beach property. With one pass and 6 adults, we decided to go to the public beach, which was actually closer. We could not use the facilities at Omni Resort, but we had to use the security gate to go in and out of Omni to get anywhere, so it seemed like we should have been able to have access there.. Because of the island interior location (but on the golf course), had more bugs than one on the ocean would have, so that limited our time on the deck. The owner was great about communicating,; even as we got lost driving in, he was able to help us right on time. He sent a repair man to fix the vent for the gas stove very promptly. I wish the kitchen cabinets had been more cleaned out since there was no place for our stuff, and we had bought a lot, not knowing how much was there. But the owner was very generous about sharing the food and drink there. One weird thing--no hand towels, tons of beach towels though.

We were a group of 5 adults and there was something for everyone during the day - the beach, pool, kayaks, bikes, pickleball, golf and walking trails. The home is a wonderful place to come back to after enjoying these activities - the large deck was a perfect gathering spot for Happy hour, the grill and kitchen provided space to make meals, and the family room and great room were awesome for pool games, movies, and reading. The sunset over the marsh is only a short walk or golf cart ride away through the gorgeous live oak filled neighborhood. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We can’t think of anything we would change. We loved it and hope to be back.

What a disappointment
This is my second time in Amelia island , the first time was in 2018 and our experience was great even though the house was a little outdated it was very well equipped and very clean. This time around I expected a similar experience but it turned out to be quite the opposite. This house has an amazing view, that much is true, the rest however is not . The house was dirty, dusty, smelled musty. The ac was set to heat instead of cold so no air was circulating, we figured that on our own after realizing the house was very hot. The beddings and towels were extremely used up, I had to wash them so they could smell fresh, the color was supposed to be white but they looked gray I guess from being used repeatedly and not properly washed . The kitchen utensils were also kind of used, the knives didn’t cut at all. The toiletries in the bathroom were all used, it looked like they have been left behind by previous guests or the owners themselves. Upon checking out I texted the owner and his reply was simply to return the cleaning fee which after several texts back and forth I did not accept . He though my complaints were small imperfections, seriously ? I forgot to mention one of the bathrooms had a clogged drain that my daughter had to remove a clump of hair with a paper towel so she could finish taking a shower. The pictures on VRBO are definitely taken in such a way that you don’t see how old and dusty the furniture is all through out the house . I have been using VRBO for many years and had never encountered a place like this, such a disappointment !

Quiet retreat close to beach!

Perfect Family Vacation
This property was perfect for my family! Plenty of room and a bathrooms for everyone. Easy access to the beach and fishing. The book for checkin provided detailed information about restaurants and others things of interests in the surrounding area, which was very helpful. A bonus was the pool table, which the entire family enjoyed. Communicating with the owner was easy. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a quiet getaway in a secured convenient location.

Nice Property and Very Helpful Owner
Enjoyed our stay at Marsh Creek on Amelia Island Plantation. Golf carts and bikes are convenient and location is great for visiting Walker's Landing and the south end of the island for fishing, crabbing, golf, etc. Bill, the owner, was flexible and accommodating, especially with an early check-in request that was a big favor for a keeping a baby on nap schedule. It was a great week for us!

Nice place...Almost perfect.
Great location with nice access to the beach near Omni Resort 2 minutes away. Very clean rooms but missing hand towels and shampoo/hand soap in all bathrooms. Superb amenities with golf cart, grill, pool table, numerous beach supplies, bicycles, and other sporting equipment. Could use some updated furniture on the deck and some better chairs at the dining room table for meals and games. Almost perfect!
