Beautiful St. Regis Resort - sun, sand, relaxation!

Mermaid's Retreat has everything you're looking for in a beach stay. It has the largest kitchen in St. Regis and most sq. ftg. Ocean views from both balconies. Ceramic tile and new laminate flooring throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, breakfast bar, and an open eat-in area with a private balcony. Every room features blackout curtains to allow for a good night's sleep. The larger of the balconies has a high top table, 4 bar stools and 2 tall beach chairs. In addition to the 2 queens and 2 singles there are 2 rollaways, queen and single sleeper sofas. Commercial Maytag washer/dryer. 4 tvs with 2 of those Roku. There are board games, puzzles and cards in both end tables. Other amenities to enjoy are an outdoor & covered heated pool, gym including Peloton, sauna, outdoor grills, business center, on-site restaurant and bar with Intracoastal and ocean views, pool restaurant, Aarr restaurant in Bldg. 1, game room/arcade, basketball courts, playground, private beach access with outside showers, foot washers, putting green, bocce ball court, mini pickle ball court, massages and an ice cream and coffee shop. Spin classes, yoga and line dancing are also available.

Wonderful Stay
Such a cute place, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were super comfy with lots of pillows. Plenty of parking and great beach access. Appreciated all the streaming options. The wifi didnt work, but we didnt need it anyway. We will definitely stay here agoisn.

Worst experiece ever!
Filthy disgusting mess. Arrived at 5:00 on July 6 and left before midnight. I notified host of terrible conditions when we arrived. Flies throughout and lit on linens left out and on bed in master. Killed those flies and more lit on the exact same place in the linens. Dirty paper towels left on sofa. I informed the host that we were driving to Jacksonville Walmart to get new linens, towels, and cleaning supplies and would expect a refund for those items. The real only reply the host made throughout the night was they never give refunds. To me that means not the first time asked. We went back to condo and started to clean and when we found blood on the wall next to chair in livingroom we were done. Notified VRBO of the fifth and sent them photos. The customer service representative took my information and repeatedly said don't worry. With everyone I knew they were going to be no help. I continued to message host but got no reply. She went from hist to ghost. Finally gotba reply the next day and she informed me that she had not received any messages because she was at the hospital all night with her mother in law. In addition to the horrible condition the number of beds was very much exaggerated. The listing said 3 twin beds in on room and it had two with a rollaway in the closet. The master bedroom was listed as queen bed and twin. When it had yet another rollaway in the closet. The living room had a fold out and was listed as a fold out and a twin again no twin bed.

Mermaid Retreat
We had a wonderful time! The condo was perfect for my nieces wedding. Plenty of room for my husband and myself as well as my two adult children. The resort was nice as well, with centrally located pool and seconds from the beach. My only complaints were with the bar restaurant in the resort. Of the three times we went there, two times the bill was incorrect. I wouldn't have my minded this but it took the staff over an hour to figure it out. Overall I would highly recommend The Mermaid retreat Condo at St Regis Resort.

Great for family getaway.
Unit was well stocked with supplies, utensils, and appliances for family meals and overall comfort. Though the tile floors quickly darkened bare feet, the rest of the unit was very clean and tidy. Nadine was a great communicator and host! Unfortunately, some of the amenities in the listing were not available and under construction, such as whirlpool hot tub and indoor pool. I thought a sauna was also listed, but was not found on site. Overall, a great, roomy location near things to do, with ample free parking. We would definitely go back again.

Perfect location for family vacation
This was the perfect spot for a family vacation. Fishing for my teen. A pool for my daughter. Golf nearby for my husband and dad. The beach for my mom and I. The beach is beautiful and clean. The unit we stayed in had everything we needed. The views from the balcony of the ocean were wonderful.

My 2 sisters and myself recently stayed at Nadine’s condo. There was a notebook that told us everything we needed to know from checking in to the day we leave. She was so sweet to leave us a nice note taped to a bottle of wine. 💕💕💕💕💕

Mermaid Retreat
Condo and location was perfect for us. Plenty of room for eight people and plenty of activities look for all ages. We found the Condo had everything we needed. No negatives at all about the condo. But the cleaning of the pool really needed to be done more frequently. There was one day it was truly unusable and did not want our little kids there. Also a lot of the adults parked themselves in the little kid pool area with their drinks. One afternoon so many our kids had no room to get in with the steps. I cannot recommend the Ocean Edge restaurant (I will not elaborate on that. Not enough space). Really enjoyed the new Arrr Pirate bar and grill. Best potato tots ever had and of course the ice cream shop was an afternoon must. Plan to definitely be back and already planning for another group trip there hopefully in same condo. There are many other places to go and eat.

North topsail condo
Everything with the condo was very clean and description was accurate. Good feedback from property manager when questions arose. We had a great time with family. Wifi was not the greatest, had a hard time watching movies at night. The resort complex itself seemed like it could have been kept up better.

Online pictures made the condo seem much larger. It had most everything we needed (crib, high chair, a few toys…). We didn’t have any dishwasher soap and some of the bedroom lamps needed new light bulbs. My relatives stayed in 3 bedroom condos on the property as well with very updated interiors. All in all, we did enjoy ourselves and the property was very clean and everything was in good working order.

Nadine has been most responsive from booking to checking in and out. She always answers to make sure we have what we need. Her condo is cozy, inviting with attention to details. Beach getaway
Renting process was excellent. Property Manager was excellent. Very responsive and attentive to our concerns about refrigerator cooling. Our original plan was for 7 adults and 2 children, however we only had 4 adults 1 child. The space would’ve been too cramped if we had all family present.

We enjoyed our stay in Topsail. This Condo was great, very clean and bigger than others we have stayed in. Kitchen was very equipped with all you need for a home away from home. We will be back. :)

Great location, beautiful grounds, and convenient
The condo location was great, property grounds were beautiful, condo was fully stocked with all needs, decorated cute, and comfortable beds. The only downfall was cleanliness of mainly floors which we noticed easily because of children on thr floor and their feet being dirty from it. Nothing a pack of swiffers and some scrubbing couldn't handle which we did on day 2.
