Spring Break with the Family
Great location with wonderful views. Had a wonderful relaxing spring break with the family enjoying the beach and the island. Would definitely come back!

Amelia Island Conference with Confidence!
Due to the Ritz Carlton being oversold for a conference I had to find other accommodations nearby. #8 Ocean Place was literally steps away and absolutely fabulous!! It was a phenomenal retreat from the hustle and bustle of the conference. I would stay here again and again!

Great location.
The condo was really good. The biggest issue for me was there are only sheer drapes in the Master bedroom which faces the ocean. This is great until the sun comes up at 630am. On vacation I like to sleep in. There is no picture showing the curtains in the bedroom. Would also like a chase or comfortable chair on patio.

Beautiful location
This property’s location is perfect. The sunrises were spectacular and we enjoyed the benefits of the Ritz without the cost. Biggest disappointments were that there was no coffee available, even a couple of K cups to get us started. And the light switch in the 2nd bath is attached to the fan, which is obnoxiously loud. Otherwise, we were happy with the property.

Amelia Island Getaway
Excellent location and Ocean Place facilities were well cared for. The Ocean Place 8 property was as shown in the photos. There were hand soaps, dishwasher soap, TP and laundry pods provided, which was quite nice. Some additional cooking utensils and kitchen towels would be helpful. We had some trouble checking in but there was a quick response to our query. The check-in could be improved by providing more detailed directions for the proper turn into Ocean Place, and also providing the building number; it was dark when we arrived so we could not get good views. The biggest disappointment was the strength of the WI-FI; it was very weak and affected our stay. We would give Ocean Place 8 a rating slightly of 3.5 overall.

Great location but needs some attention
This property is nice but needs some upgrades in the bathrooms and flooring. The living room furniture is very comfortable and the manager allowed us to check in early which was very nice. The manager did stay in constant contact with me because the main water line burst at the complex the first night. It took about 19 hours for it to get fixed which was pretty miserable but I understand that it couldn't be helped. The manager did bring us some water to help flush toilets and wash hands about 18 hours into it. The main complaint I had was with the A/C. It never got cooler than 72 degrees (and that was the middle of the night) and tended to be warmer than that during the day and evening. I contacted the manager and was told that he was able to control it remotely and that I shouldn't set it below 70 to keep it from freezing up. We initially set the temperature lower to see if we could cool the condo but the manager told me he went in and remotely adjusted the temperature to 72 degrees. This is a good bit warmer than we keep our sleeping temperature at home set at. We even went out and bought box fans to help cool it off at night. It was still pretty warm in the condo and after the issue with the water we decided to go home 2 nights early of a 3 night stay. The manager did refund one night for our water troubles.
