Our cozy coastal retreat** is located just steps from the beach within a gated beachfront condo community featuring a pool and grilling area. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo sleeps 4, offering a private master bedroom and a pullout sofa bed in the living room. Recently renovated with stylish upgrades, the unit includes a gourmet kitchen, complimentary WiFi, and cable. Step outside the front gates onto 1st Street, where you’ll find dining, nightlife, and entertainment within walking distance. Whether you're seeking a peaceful beach escape or an active day of beach cruising and sightseeing, this is the perfect spot. ****PLEASE NOTE*** OUR INTERIOR UNIT IS NOT OCEANFRONT AND HAS NO OCEAN VIEW. HOWEVER, IT IS JUST STEPS AWAY FROM THE POOL AND BEACH ACCESS. THE COMMUNITY IS OCEANFRONT.

Overall my experience was positive. It was very clean, however, I did find 3 roaches but that was due to the weatherstripping around the front door that needed replacing. I think that is to be expected in Florida though. I did bring it to the owners attention. The location was perfect. The pool was nice. I liked that it was gated entry. I would not be opposed to staying here again.

JEM BY THE BEACH!

Great little condo by the beach. Easy access to beach and pool. Eating places easily walkable. We really enjoyed our stay. The only negative we had was that the bathroom is inside the one bedroom. Those that sleep on the sofa bed don't have access to bathroom at night. Would come again though!

Close to beach, shops & restaurants

Enjoyed the short walk to beach to watch sunrise nearly every day & daily beach walks.I really liked the fact that parking was private just for that condo complex and that it was gated!The condo is an older building but this condo was well kept & well furnished.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was equipped with most everything you need to cook. Clean,other than the mildew smell. Should do more about that,because its a great place otherwise. Close to everything. We didn't care for the construction right nextdoor, but we get it,given the season.

Condo needs somatic new front door and new door casing the reason I chose that place because it had a pool that should be heated for the amount of money we paid to rent that place I didn’t like the texting game I had to use to talk to the property manager

Great home away from home.

The unit was within walking distance of restaurants, bars and ice cream (I like to walk). The pier was a short walk also and I watched the sunset from the pier. There were lots of surfers to watch and the sunrise was beautiful! The unit was perfect except I did not remember my login for the TV (streaming only). I did watch Netflix as I remembered that login. I got very lucky with the weather. No rain/only beautiful Florida days! The pool was lovely! The picture does not show this unit and I was surprised that the path over the dunes goes right to the beach! Loved it!

Great place and location

Close to everything especially the beach! My only thing was it was listed at beach front and it was not. Now it was on the same side as the beach and was extremely easy to access! Less than 2 minutes to get to the sand. I would stay here again!

Beach Bungalow in Jax Beach

Great location to restaurants and beach. Quiet neighborhood, sparse traffic, bike friendly. Property was small but very efficient and comfortable;; well stocked kitchen. Would have liked to have been able to watch live college//prof. sports on TV.

A great find!

This this little beach bungalow is great! It’s clean and a 1 minute walk to the beach and is perfect for a couple of people. The place has a full kitchen with everything necessary for cheffing it up. There is also a charcoal grill for grilling. The pool is clean and nice and there a couple hoses conveniently placed for when you come in from the beach. The property is close to Margaritaville and Lynches Irish Pub which has live music on most nights. This will be my number one selection for when I visit Jax. Super stoked on this great find!

Overall great experience

Starting with the less than desirables: - the listing did not make it clear that I was making a reservation with a third party property management company. This made communication during the booking process confusing - the confirmation emails contained outdated information regarding the check in process. It was was very easy but the outdated information was not helpful. - the unit is very very small but truthful to photos shown in listing. The bathroom toilet is finicky with flushing and the shower does not drain well - one of the three a/c units failed during our stay and the property manager offered to have it fixed immediately! Having two other units, we decided to wait. - there was no toiletries. This was a little inconvenient as we were staying for a week. Overall our stay was a great experience! The condo is within a gated community with a direct path to the beach and pool area. While there is no view of the beach from the unit, it’s easy access to it was great. The unit was very clean and true to photos! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Overall it was a great experience. I wish there was more toiletries and kitchen supplies/garbage bags. The pictures are a bit deceiving on the size. Also if you aren’t sharing a bedroom with the other person the bathroom situation isn’t ideal

Great stay at the beach

I was looking for a last-minute getaway for me, my husband, our daughter (4 years old) and son (15 months). So happy we found this place! The location is amazing and conveniently located. The property manager was friendly and made our stay so easy and comfortable. The place is tiny but it was cozy for our little family of four. We put the baby's pack & play in the walk-in closet and squeezed the three of us into the queen bed (I wish it was a King bed but otherwise the place was perfect). The pool and beach are steps away and we loved being able to walk to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!
