"We normally stay in the middle of nowhere, so this was a change for us to be in a town setting. Sherborne is a really lovely and vibrant town, with interesting buildings. The cottage was very cosy and clean, very comfy beds,it had everything we needed, we could hear the Abbey bells which was lovely, it's just round the corner."

Only downside was the shower/bath in the large rear bedroom did not work as there was no cold water coming through. A thermostatic cartridge problem maybe. So had to share another en-suite!"

"We stay here often to visit my wife's mother in Westbourne. Every one is very friendly. The bar is very reasonably priced. Beds comfy and their prices are very reasonable. It's not 5 star but when you only need a bed for the night it's perfect. Yes the hotels a bit tired in places. If you want to pay twice the amount go 5 star but here is good."
