Water's Edge on Cayuga Lake in Ithaca

Gorgeous leaves, crisp air, wine trails, and more! Come spend your best days playing and relaxing at this well-appointed lake house with views from every room. Fully equipped new kitchen. Dining table for 10, sliding doors to water, 2-sided-fireplace, living room w/large sectional, desk, printer, & 65" smartTV. Stunning queen guest room w/full bath. 3rd bedroom w/twin-over-full bunks, daybed, and skylight. Common area w/sleeper sofa, tv, & reading nook. King suite w/fireplace, smartTV & outdoor deck with bistro set. Master bath has a gorgeous glass shower with pebble floor, soaker tub, & skylight. Outdoor dining table, huge deck with comfy furniture, gas bbq, & 2 fire pits. Dock, boathouse, kayaks, & paddle board. High chair, pack-n-play, and kids dinnerware/utensils. A/C, Wifi, new washer/dryer, games, puzzles, and books for all ages.
House is 3 stories high. Ground floor full kitchen, dining room, half bath, and living room with fireplace leading to porch overlooking the lake. Second floor queen guest room with full bath, common area with sleeper sofa, half bath, "kids" bedroom with bunk beds and daybed. Top floor master suite with king bed, full bath, fireplace, and private deck overlooking the water. Boathouse with lift for boats under 20 ft.

I am available by phone call or text 24 hours a day.
Very quiet and scenic. Winding roads down to the lake.
There are 60 stairs from the parking area to the house so this is not a good choice for people with mobility issues. There is room for 3 cars at the bottom of the driveway and another 3 at the top of the driveway. Entire property line is waterfront so children must be tended to at all times.

Clean, spacious and beautiful property
We loved our stay! Everything was extremely clean and well-organized in the house, the kayaks were easy to use, the outside area was lovely and the first floor space was great for a larger family crew. Highly recommend.

Perfect Lake Get-away
Had a perfect week! Ardys and her husband have a beautiful house and we were so pleased to be able to rent it for a week. Location was great and we loved being right on the water. Almost every evening was spent out back enjoying the view and peacefulness! We spent many hours fishing and using the kayaks provided to tour up and down the lake! Every room was beautifully furnished and anything you can think of needing was provided! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Hope we can return sometime!! ~Chris and Judy

great place on the water
Great location right next to the water. Couldn't ask for a more responsive and helpful host. The house is recently renovated and very nice with plenty of good hang out spaces, and conveniently close enough to town and Taughannock Blvd without the noise and crowds.

Wonderful lake house
The house was in a great location - you can’t beat being right next to the water in a tastefully renovated and comfortable space, while also being within a very reasonable distance from all things Ithaca. The kitchen was well stocked, the main area a great place to hang out, and the bedrooms private and comfortable. As an added bonus, the hosts were very thoughtful and responsive! Thumbs up!

For someone with mobility issues this property would not work, but for anyone else this place is exceptional. With a beautiful layout that is thoughtfully furnished, immaculately clean, extremely well equipped, and ideally located both for convenience and aesthetics it met or exceeded all of our expectations. Our family group of nine, six adults and three small children, were very comfortably accommodated during our 3-day stay, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The wonderful memories we took home are priceless.

Perfect Thanksgiving get-away
This lovely lake home had absolutely everything our family of 4 needed for a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. In addition to spectacular lake views, the kitchen was fully stocked with every pot, pan, appliance, serving bowl, etc that we needed for preparing and serving the meal. The gas fireplace and large sofa in the great room made for cozy evenings. The location is ideal—close to Ithaca but also just far enough away to feel like a retreat. Ardys and Mark were such thoughtful hosts—every detail had been thought out, from leaving outdoor lights on for our nighttime arrival, to providing a welcome basket with dish soap, laundry detergent, toiletries, etc., to checking in every couple of days to see if we needed anything. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Amazing Home
Simply an amazing property that exceeded our expectations. Location is unbelievable and the home itself is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Master bedroom provides incredible sunrise views overlooking the lake and an awesome master bathroom. Plenty of board games to keep the family busy along with kayaks and a paddle board to explore the lake. Fishing right from the backyard of the property was a bonus. Went on a number of day hikes to local trails and spent an afternoon visiting some of the nearby vineyards. Owners were top notch and extremely professional to deal with, not to mention very responsive. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again if ever back in the area.

Lake side Gem!
Beautiful setting, with a well appointed home in style, comfort and flow! With so many details were attended to, it made everyone in our group feel welcomed. - Beddings, kitchen equipment and essentials, laundry supplies, information about the house & on local options, and a welcome basket of items travelers may need. The view from every window, patio, deck is stunning! In such close proximity to the water, the upper floors can feel like the deck of a ship. Parking was easy for 3 cars, but... The drive down takes a steady hand, and the stairs are no joke- safe and manageable, but need attention, especially when there's a bit of frost or ice. Owners were readily available and accommodating. Enjoy!

Amazing house!
Ardys house was so nice! Everything was exactly as it is in the pictures. There are a bunch of stairs you need to go up and down to get to and from the house. You will see those in the pictures provided. We used the kayaks on the lake, which was awesome. We hung out on the porch and had amazing views of Cayuga Lake. The neighbor was quiet and private in November. Highly recommend this vrbo.

Wonderful stay
My family and I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful lakeside home! We were extremely comfortable here and enjoyed the lovely decor and lakeside views. The owners made us feel very welcome - we appreciated the gift basket waiting for us and they were very accessible throughout our stay. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle board not to mention lots of hiking and exploring nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our trip! Thank you!

Perfect location
We recently stayed at this beautiful property - down to the smallest detail. We have been to Ithaca before but didn't stay as close. This is the perfect location, close to the town of Ithaca, Ithaca college, wineries, and right on the water. The owner was super responsive and went above and beyond to welcome us (gift basket with snacks, toiletries, laundry detergent, etc.). We would definitely stay here again!

Private, serene lakeside location with every amenity imaginable
This property was everything as described and more!! Leave all of your beach towels, life jackets, cooking utensils, and pillows behind. And you'll be grateful for the fully stocked house since the steps to the house are many, but once you are unpacked for the week you won't want to leave! Ardys was an incredibly attentive host who responded to every question and provided an exceptionally clean environment for our families. We plan to come back in the future if this gem isn't snapped up once more people discover it!!

We had a fabulous weekend in this beautiful well appointed home :) We were up in Ithaca for Cornell graduation weekend and wish we could have stayed longer! I have stayed in other VRBO homes and this home is my favorite! From the newly updated interior to the breathtaking lake views you are able to come in and just relax and enjoy lakefront living at its finest! Owners were extremely accommodating and the addition of games, kayaks, paddleboat and fire pit made this an unforgettable weekend! Thank you for sharing your home and putting so much thought into making it a home to relax and enjoy!!
