Lovely pool area

We enjoyed our stay here and spent a lot of time relaxing around the pool, although there was some noise from the traffic on the road close by and the property is in a busy agricultural area. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of outdoor and dining seating. The owner was very accommodating in allowing a late check out as out flight home was very late in the day. Due to language issues there was very little introduction to the property and we were unable to use the barbecue. Some good restaurants in the area and the large Conad supermarket in Ispica was very handy and well-stocked.

Ispica stay

Lovely charming Villa. The place is very secluded surrounded by fields of Pomodoro tomatoes and wildlife. Great pool and plenty of space to spread out. Michele was a great help and maintained the property brilliantly during our stay. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a brilliant location near all the great Unesco towns then this is for you.

Aufenthalt bei Michèle

Wir waren für drei Wochen im Haus. Das Haus, der Pool und der Garten waren sehr gepflegt. Wir waren zur „ Hitzewelle“ in Sizilien, da hätte man sich gerne eine Klimaanlage gewünscht. In der letzten Woche war es angenehm bei 30 Grad und da waren die Ventilatoren vollkommen ausreichend! Die Kommunikation mit Michèle war super. Er hatte uns sogar einen Arzttermin besorgt, vielen Dank nochmal dafür! Der Pizzaofen ist super und die Außenküche definitiv ein Highlight!!

Half term fun

We had a fantastic week at Casa Daniela. The house was lovely and spacious and the pool was a decent size with plenty of relaxing loungers and shade. The kids enjoyed splashing around in it and it was big enough to swim in too. We also felt the location was good. Relatively close to Ragusa, Noto etc and some good beaches. Many thanks

Summer in paradise

Beautiful vila in the Sicilian countryside, well-equipped for your every need, pool is spacious and extremely clean, plenty of outdoor space for relaxation. Host was very kind and polite, location is perfect, close to must see towns and not far from the beach. Overall a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend!

Perfect house and base, close to beaches

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Daniela, and it had everything we needed for our toddler (2.5 years). The kitchen supplies were great, as we cook often, with plenty of pots and pans, utensils and dishes, two kitchens (we mostly used the outdoor one) and a wood burning BBQ and pizza oven. The house was impeccably clean, with everything in good order. And of course the pool! The pool is wonderful and the pool area is large, with plenty of covered seating too. There is great space for the little one to run around, private parking, outdoor sink to wash up after beach, and more that makes this a great family house. The drive to one of the best beaches around is a 10 minute drive away, and the grocery store and Ispica town is only a few minutes drive. The only part of the house that perhaps needs a slight update is the shower, but this is a very minor comment. Overall, we loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Nice stay

We had a comfortable stay in this accommodation with a fantastic swimming pool! The property manager is very friendly and speaks a little English. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and fresh fruits. The kitchen is well equipped and we prepared several evenings our own BBQ dinner. During our stay, we visited Ispica, Ragusa, Modica, Noto and Siracuse and we enjoyed the sunbeds and beach at Lido Otello. The accommodation is hard to find and you definitely need a car for supermarket and restaurants. The only criticism we have is about the ditch next to the garden: an awful strong smell and caused a lot of annoying flies in the garden.

Great holiday

Highly recommend this lovely villa. We are a family with 2 children aged 8 and 5. We all loved staying here. The pool is a good size and the area around the pool is great for relaxing. Michele and his family are very helpful and even showed us the best place to buy fruit and cannoli. The bedrooms are all a good size. There's no AC, but the ceiling fans kept the place cool. We kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. We loved using the pizza oven of an evening for dinner. Good location to explore the surrounding area, I can recommend our favourite beach Calamosche. I can also recommend trips to Mount Etna and Taormina, which are about 2 hours and Noto which only about 30 mins. I wouldn't recommend the trip to Agrigento, as the roads there are small and it took over 3 hours. We had a great two week stay in Sicily and staying in this villa was a big part of our great holiday.

We want to live here!!!

This property gave us the second best holiday we’ve had. First one was same property last year. It’s spacious grounds, huge pool, cooking facilities, close to loads of great towns (Pozzallo, Noto, Modica, Ragusa). It’s so relaxing. Only downer was watching Man City best Brighton 4-0 but that’s not the properties fault. Want to go back ASAP.

Schönes Haus mit tollem Pool und sehr netten Vermietern!

Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind für 12 Nächte in Ispica! Sehr schönes Haus mit super gepflegten Grundstück und großen Pool! Sehr nette Vermieter! Das einzige Problem ist die nahe gelegene Straße, die stark befahren ist und die sowohl tags als auch nachts für Verkehrslärm sorgt. Ansonsten alles super!

Großzügiges Haus mit guter Ausstattung und Privatsphäre

An dem tollen Haus gibt's nichts zu mäkeln. Sämtliche Fenster haben Moskitogitter. Top! Im Garten findet man Bäume mit leckeren Früchten - bei uns waren es Granatäpfel, Kakis und Zitronen. Mmmmm. :) Ende Oktober / Anfang November konnten wir noch jeden Tag an den Strand, aber auch dem Etna und den umliegenden Städtchen wurde ein Besuch abgestattet. Allerdings sind um diese Zeit die Bauern auf den umliegenden Feldern aktiv (Olivenernte, Pflügen usw.), was sich manchmal in der Geräuschkulisste bemerkbar macht. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Großzügiges und sauberes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist sowohl innen als auch außen ziemlich gross. Ausreichend Platz für vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder. Besonders schön ist das man auf der grossen überdachten Veranda kochen kann. Hier steht auch der tolle Pizzaofen. Draussen gibt es einen grossen Pool, eine gute Rasenfläche und viele Sitzecken. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. Das Haus war sehr sauber bei unserer Ankunft und der Pool wurde alle paar Tage gereinigt. Das einzige Manko ist tatsächlich die Strasse, dessen Verkehr zwischendurch doch ziemlich laut war. Für Familien vielleicht nicht ganz so entscheidend, für Entspannungssuchende vielleicht schon. Alles in allem aber ein tolles, gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit tollen Service. So lagen genügend Handtücher (auch für den Strand) bereit und wurden wie auch die Bettwäsche einmal die Woche gewechselt. Die Landschaft ringsum ist ländlich geprägt, um zu verschiedenen tollen Stränden zu gelangen braucht man zwar ein Auto, aber im Grunde ist alles gut zu erreichen. Der nächste gut sortierte Supermarkt ist 8 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Ganz toll war auch der Service von Michele der uns frisches Obst hingestellt hatte und eine leckere Flasche Wein geschenkt hat. Vielen Dank.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit riesigem Pool und super Ausstattung

Wir waren als Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder im Alter von 10 und 8) eine Woche im Oktober in dem Haus. Das Haus ist groß, der Wintergarten sehr groß und der Garten mit Pool riesig. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich, wir hatten ausreichend Handtücher und sogar noch extra Pooltücher. Das Haus hat eine Küche im Haus und eine weitere im Wintergarten. Beide können benutzt werden. Das Einzige, was die Küchenausstattung (es gab wirklich alles) perfekt machen würde, ist eine Spülmaschine. Der Pool ist sehr groß und gepflegt, auch die 6 Poolliegen sind sehr komfortabel und sogar mit Auflagen ausgestattet. Der Garten ist super gepflegt, ebenso das Haus und der Wintergarten - alles tip top sauber und ordentlich. Man fühlt sich wirklich wohl. Das einzige Manko waren die Matratzen, die mal ausgetauscht werden sollten. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in Ihrem Haus!

Little paradise with huge garden and swimming pool

Excellent location to visit Syracuse, Ragusa, Noto, Modica and Scicli. Scicli we liked the most because of its atmosphere and authenticity. But the highlights of the others are more impressive. Especially in Ortiega in Syracuse. The valley of temples in Agrigento is stunning. Definitely worth the 3 hours drive to get there. As always with staying in rural areas, small problems occur (lack of (warm) water, electricity failure). But after notifying our host Michele, he was there within minutes to solve the problem, even late in the evening. The whole property is maintained very well and the house is very clean. It's close to one of the main roads, so during rush hours there's a bit of traffic noise. But we didn't find this annoying. More an advantage because you have easy access to explore the island. The pump to refresh the swimming pool is very well isolated. So no noise from that at all! That for me was a real bonus. Should you wish to go local, than we recommend to eat pizza at pizzeria Forno a Legna in Ispica, accompanied with one of there bottles Red Nero D'avola. They serve this wine chilled, and it's gorgeous, as well as their pizzas. Last but not least thanks to our host Michele and his family. When we arrived there was a bottle of water in the fridge and a selection of local fruit on the table.. We appreciated this very much. We can only recommend this villa as a perfect spot to visit the southeast of Sicily!

eine Superwoche in Ispica

Das Haus von Michele und seiner Frau lässt keine Wünsche offen! Wir haben unsere Ferien in dem sehr gemütlichen Haus mit tollem Garten und eigenem Pool sehr genossen. Lovely villa in a quiet location but close to good beaches.

The villa is lovely, set in a pretty garden with a good sized pool. The inside is cool and well equipped. The outside kitchen and shaded eating area were good in the hot weather and there were plenty of sun loungers and a comfortable shaded area beside the pool. The owners were kind and patient as we were held up for several hours on our arrival day. We would love to stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Erholsame Urlaubsoase abseits des touristischen Trubels

Wir haben als 5-köpfige Familie den Aufenthalt in der Casa Daniela sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt abseits der üblichen touristischen Gebiete und bietet maximale Privatsphäre. Der Garten is wunderschön angelegt und gepflegt, bietet viel Platz zum entspannen rund um den Pool. Dieser war das absolute Highlight für die Kinder, einfach perfekt! Das Haus bietet viel Platz, es ist gemütlich und auch praktisch eingerichtet, vor allem aber ist es tipptopp sauber. Einziger Abstrich ist die nicht allzu entfernt gelegene Strasse, die morgens es was stärker befahren ist, jedoch ohne weiteres zu ertragen. Wir können die Casa Daniela ohne Einschränkung empfehlen!
