Stylish beachfront condo walking distance to beach, pool, pier and restaurants!

A beach vacation paradise! This is a one bedroom, oceanfront "Sea Cabin" on the first floor. This sea cabin can sleep five with a queen bed in the bedroom, futon sofa in the living room, and a built in youth bunk bed for kids in the hallway (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds, which are skinnier than a twin, and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them). The dimensions of the youth bunk bed are roughly 74"x25".
Enjoy the private balcony with ocean views, gated community (non heated) pool, beach access, and fishing pier. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen with two bars and a full bathroom. There is a laundry facility in the middle of the complex. Located at the beautiful front beach on Isle of Palms with restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream stands all within walking distance. The Sea Cabins have the only private pier on the island and you are allowed to fish off the pier but will need a South Carolina fishing license.
There is free WI-FI and cable. The Sea Cabins are located just 20 minutes from historic Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes from CHS airport and 5 minutes from 2 world class golf courses in Wild Dunes!
No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or you can use an app on your phone.
There are a few steps to get up to the first floor.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide a few travel soaps and shampoos, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, two laundry and dish pods, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.

We manage multiple other sea cabins so ask about booking more than one!

Location can't be beat
We wanted a few days as a family to be on the water and relax ahead of a busy fall semester, and this place did not disappoint! 60 second walk and you are on the beach. We loved the location and enjoyed the stay on the whole. The kitchen lacks a few bigger items (large pots, large baking sheets) that would have made it easier for us to prepare meals (we are a food allergy family and specifically book VRBOs for full kitchen access). The bunk nook is adorable, but they are not full twin sized mattresses, they are narrower. Our 12 year old fit, but our 5'10" 15 year old opted for the couch instead. It's not a knock on the accommodations, but just important to understand...smaller children will be just fine! Thank you for a LOVELY stay! We got much needed R&R in this quiet beach escape!

Cozy Cabin on IOP
This unit at Sea Cabins is cozy. The proximity to the beautiful IOP sand can’t be beat. It was perfect for our short end of summer escape. You can hear the Windjammer shows from inside, but they stopped right on time and made me miss days gone by when I was the one on the front row.

Great location and property!
We had a great stay at this property. It was clean and an easy check in/out process with a great location right by the ocean, near lots of restaurants and access to a private pier! The bed and couch were not the comfiest but overall the condo was great for my husband, myself and our toddler!

Overall Sea Cabins is a perfect location to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store. I do feel there are a few areas that need attention. Pool bathrooms had not been cleaned in a while! If it is necessary to use a code for a bathroom, it would be nice if it was clean. Our condo (142) has a few things that need attention as well. Bedroom TV did not work, toaster was broken, bunk beds definitely need to be cozier, and maybe offer complimentary local coffee. Also, you can hear neighboring units at all hours of the day and night. We saw a noise ordinance sign with hours of "quiet time" but our neighbors did not abide.

All right for a beach condo
You can tell the owners are in the process of refurbishing this older condo with newer appliances in the kitchen and nice countertops. The only annoying thing was that the bedroom and bathroom doors have sticky door jambs and can't shut all the way, but that's a simple fix. You can't beat the location! The condo was very quiet and we rarely heard our neighbors. We also had an adorable little wren who kept exploring the balcony hoping for crumbs.

Nice place and location
This is a nice up to date, clean, and well supplied (cookware etc) one bedroom unit in an ideal location with easy parking. Also, communication was very good. If I had to critique anything, I would say a more comfortable couch for TV viewing in the evening would be a plus. But, I our stay was wonderful.

Clean and very convenient to the beach!
I was visiting my Son and his girlfriend that go to COC. It was perfect for just me. They were able to visit me for the day and it was convenient for us to spend the day on the beach. I didnt spend a lot of time in the condo during the day. The only 3 things I would change is the futon/sofa is not comfortable to sit on in the living room. I could not get the tv to work in the bedroom and there was no full length mirror. The host is very responsive and the instructions were precise.

Empty Nesters on Spring Break
The condo was clean, and looked just as the listed had indicated. Prior to arrival we received lots of recommendations on anything we might possibly need from groceries, to beach supplies to surf lessons. He also responded promptly to our questions, although we received no specific check-out procedures indicating what we should do with dirty towels, and sheets, or where to bring the garbage. We did also find the couch to be rather uncomfortable, and were not fans of the rainfall showerhead. But that was just personal preference. However, a potential issue was that there was only one mirror in the entire place, and that was in the bathroom. It wasn't so much a problem for just the two of us, but would've caused delays in getting ready had we had our two daughters with us. Lastly, the TV instructions were for a different TV than was in the unit, although was not difficult to figure out. The TV did have cable, however most of the channels required an additional subscription, so were therefore unavailable, and there was no way to log in to our own streaming service accounts or to screen mirror from our own devices. We ultimately ended up purchasing a Roku from the local Best Buy so we'd have something to watch in the evenings since the weather was too cool to be outside.

Perfect for our Charleston needs!
This listing is just as described online, and everything about the reservation process -- from booking, to checking in/out, to communicating with the host, etc. -- was easy. We went in March, so not the best time of year for perfect beach weather, but it was great having access to the beach, pool, and pier. There are several close restaurants and a grocery store. The focus of our trip was to explore different parts of Charleston, and this listing was perfect for that -- everything we wanted to see was no more than a 30-minute drive away. Our daughter loved the "whale bed," which was a plus! We will definitely return if we travel to that area again!
