Location, Location, Location! If you are looking for a vacation, with a beautiful condo with two private balconies, a spacious beach across the street, and walking distance from the restaurants, shopping and cocktail bars at Wild Dunes Resort, this is your spot. Unlike other beaches, Wild Dunes is totally private which means no one gets through the gates without a reservation. This allows families to enjoy the expansive beach and walking and biking trails with plenty of space apart from other travelers.

NO PETS allowed due to severe asthma/ allergies in the family. Thanks so much for understanding!

This beautifully renovated two bedroom two bathroom condo is located in the heart of Wild Dunes in Lagoon Villas. You and your family will be a short 5 minute walk to the beach down an upgraded beach path with a boardwalk and lush greenery. Lagoon Villas is right near the tennis courts and pro shop. At night enjoy a short stroll to the Wild Dunes Boardwalk for an ice cream cone, visit Hudson's Market, have dinner at Coastal Crust or at Sweet Grass Inn or walk to the beach bar for a pina colada.

Inside the condo these owners have spared no expense. A spacious living room and dining area features hardwood floors and a large dining room table seating six. It is perfect for dinner or a family board game as the kitchen has all the tools and appliances you need to cook a meal at home. Four new bar stools pull up to the new granite counter tops for a quick meal on the go, and all this while you enjoy a lush lagoon view with palm trees and a moving stream out of the massive picture window in the family room.

Next the bedrooms are large and each feature a private bathroom, changing area, and private deck with sliding glass door. One bedroom has a king size bed and one bedroom has two queen beds. The bedrooms are each on opposite sides of the family room making it the perfect privacy for parents and kids or two couples traveling together.

Don't worry about missing the big game on TV. We have three brand new smart TVs and new wall mounts!

The private community pool is always quiet and is only for the Lagoon Villa residents. It is a 30 second walk from the front door of the condo! We provide beach chairs, a beach wagon, and beach toys for your enjoyment!

Wild Dunes is a private, gated resort on Isle of Palms. A quick 20 minute drive will take you into Historic Charleston, one of the greatest cities in the country. You will not want to leave this little peace of paradise!

Girls trip
The condo was the perfect space for us. There were 3 of us staying there & we had plenty of room. It was very clean, small kitchen area but large dining table & nice balcony views. A bathroom for each of the 2 bedrooms was a plus! The primary bedroom bed was very comfortable, but secondary bedroom beds were too soft & sunken in. The pool was a short walk & the beach is a little bit of a walk. We enjoyed our stay & would recommend it to others.

Spacious, well equipped and great location. Five minute walk to beach, everything we needed was supplied. Comfy beds, nice quality linens and starter supply of toiletries appreciated. Unfortunately, wild dunes has changed their policy, and anyone who does not rent directly through them is not able to play tennis, so that was a little disappointing, but certainly not the owners fault. Would return.

Perfect Family Vacation
We had the perfect family vacation! The condo is beautiful with all the amenities with two separate bathrooms. Loved the beachy cheerful decor. We were right across the street from the beach and the restaurants, The pizza place, beach bar, and right next to Woodys. Andrea was great to work with. We will be back !

Just ok.
Location was very good in regard to the beach and pool. Easy stroll to beach and pool. We’ve had better condo experiences, however. I want to say that I took my time leaving a review as I wanted to speak with those staying with us and make sure we all agreed. 1) Condo felt moist and has a moist smell. All the adults in the group agreed. 2) The air conditioning unit seemed inconsistent for some reason. The condo was humid. All agreed. 3) Our biggest disappointment with our stay was the fact that we had made our decision to stay in this condo based on the golf cart that was pictured and offered for an additional charge. Up front we let Andrea know that we would definitively want to rent the golf cart. I reached out to Andrea at least two weeks before we were to arrive and was informed that the golf cart was not available because the batteries were left uncharged by some recent renters. We understood. But she informed us that the reason it wasn’t available was because she wouldn’t have time to drive to the condo to charge them. This was two weeks beforehand. While this may have been an acceptable reason to not honor the golf cart offer to some, it is one KEY reason for a “mediocre” review. There was another nice condo we were considering but the golf cart option pushed us in the direction of this unit. This is the first time I’ve ever felt like I had to leave a less than stellar review. I hated to do so.

Location! Peaceful!
Location of this place is awesome! Literally 7-8 min walk to the beach. The wagon that is provided is very helpful. Very peaceful area. Deep pool. The condo itself is nice. Lovely kitchen, spacious rooms. The balconies are nice as well. Felt clean, although there’s a very strong smell of mold/mildew. If you’re sensitive to those kind of smells it might be a problem. It was strange because the bedding, towels and furniture did not smell of mold… So I kind of thought maybe it was from the AC? Not really sure. I did buy some Febreeze.. it did help somewhat. The washer and dryer wasn’t hooked up. She did give me a heads up that someone was going to be delivering and installing it. When I arrived it was already delivered just not hooked up. Which was a bummer because we were at the beach everyday would have been nice to do a couple loads but we improvised and washed by hand and laid out to dry. Im sure the next visitor won’t have this problem. Overall it was a nice stay and my kids really enjoyed it.

I was amazed by how big the space is. At night it’s SO quiet, I slept so well and my 9 year old actually slept in! We rented the golf cart and it was the game changer- super fun way to get around. We will be back!

Nice condo. Had all the amenities. It did not seem to be cleaned for Spring. Balcony chairs and table were dirty from weather and the condo was very dusty. The outside front lights were all out and made the porch and stairs very dark. We unplugged the air freshener as it was strong and triggered allergies. The addition of renting the golf cart was wonderful and the location of the condo is perfect. The owners were nice to work with.

A Fabulous Vacation Villa
We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful villa. Tennis, golf and the most beautiful beach all in walking distance from the villa…A short drive to Charleston for some great restaurants and historical tours as well. The unit was so comfortable and well appointed! We will surely return!

Enjoyable Trip - Great Location
We really enjoyed out Oct weekend getaway with friends, the condo was nice, has a good layout and plenty of room for our party of four. The biggest feedback I can give is the condo could definitely use some updates, the mattresses truly need to be replaced and the living room furniture as well, they are just very worn and just not very comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It was in a great location within Wild Dunes and convenient to other areas in aisle of Palms. The unit was well equipped and comfortably accommodated our family of 6. The lagoon views out the windows and patios are pretty. Very good communication with the owners made for a relaxing and worry free vacation!

Unsanitary, rundown, and in need of major updating throughout.
This property is extremely dated and in very poor condition. The first items we noticed upon arrival were the flickering lights in the tiny kitchen and a stench of mildew emanating from underneath the sink. The air vents that the AC run through were filthy and clogged with mold and dust bunnies overflowing in both bedrooms, there is black mold from a broken and leaking refrigerator ice/water dispenser, the carpet in both bedrooms is heavily stained and the main furnishings such as the sofa and beds are old, dirty, worn out, and all overdue for replacement. During our stay the old shower curtain rod broke while our daughter was attempting to shower. We replaced the shower curtain rod with a brand new one at our expense and the owner has refused to reimburse us even though we provided the receipt. The shower in the 2nd bedroom had a clogged drain, so the longest you could run the water was 3 minutes without having to stand in 2 inches of standing water. The website and owner have described the property as "beautiful", however it is in absolutely horrible condition, extremely dated and in neglect. These condos were built in 1984 and the carpeting in both bedrooms and interior paint are in 30 plus year old condition. We have images and video documentation of the unsafe and disgusting conditions and we shared them with the owner and VRBO, however the owner is in denial and VRBO pointed us back to her. For the price paid, we at least expected to have a clean condo with everything functioning properly, instead we were forced to live with dead bugs and blood stained walls, mildew, black mold, dust clogged air filters, a shower that would not drain properly, dirty, worn out mattresses and linens, clutter and filth everywhere, an unemptied vacuum cleaner left in the hallway, other peoples clothes left inside a dresser and a broken shower curtain rod. After we brought up how unsanitary the property was the owner admitted that she stayed in the condo right before us and that it was in “beautiful” condition. There does not seem to be an option to include any of the 40+ images that we captured of these facts/conditions, which is too bad for any prospective family or group expecting a pleasant experience.
