Walk to the beach from this family & dog friendly ground level duplex home! This comfortable home features a renovated kitchen with an open layout between the dining room and living room. Your kids will love the bunk bedroom as well as the playground, tennis courts, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, soccer field and baseball/softball field & batting cages at the Isle of Palms Rec Center, which is 5 blocks from the house. Take advantage of the six miles of wide beaches, fishing, kayaking, boating and eco-tours on Isle of Palms by day and enjoy the fabulous foodie & cultural delights of downtown Charleston or nearby Mt. Pleasant or Sullivans Island at night. Historic Charleston is a 20 minute drive from the home and the beach is a 6 minute walk from the house. Highlights:

- 6 minute walk to the beach! 9 minute walk to the Isle of Palms Rec Center with tennis, indoor/outdoor basketball, playground, picnic shelter, walking trail, a soccer field and baseball/softball field & batting cages.

- Fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster & more!

- Covered deck with outdoor dining table and a gas BBQ grill.

- Three dining tables -- kitchen table seats 2, dining room table seats 8 and outdoor table seats 8.

- Washing machine and dryer

- WIFI and smart TVs (personal subscription apps are required).

- Outdoor shower for sand removal for you, your kids or your dog after the beach.

- Dog friendly (but you must notify us of your dog in advance of your stay!). There will be additional charges if you do not notify us in advance of your stay that your dog will be joining you.

- Don't wait in an office to check-in or get a key! Drive straight to The Blue Oyster and enter the front door with a secure electronic lock code. Prior to your visit, we will send you our mobile app with directions and full instructions.

- No Saturday to Saturday Restrictions - MAY RESERVE LESS OR MORE THAN 7 NIGHTS!!

Upon entering the home you will find a dining area, living room, a fully stocked kitchen and hallway to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All the rooms in this unit are on the same floor. Guests are also welcome to utilize the covered deck with outdoor dining table, gas BBQ grill and outdoor shower. The washing machine and dryer are located in the laundry room off of the kitchen. Off-street parking on the driveway immediately in front of Unit B for up to 2 cars is included in the rental rate.

Please note that long term tenants reside in the upstairs unit. Upstairs renters share the backyard with the downstairs guests. Crossover noise between the units - especially on the ceilings in The Blue Oyster - is to be expected.

DOGS CONSIDERED, PET FEES MAY APPLY, PLEASE INQUIRE. Cats are NOT permitted.

4th of July Family Vacation

My family of 4 stayed here over the 4th weekend! It was the perfect location. Walking distance to the beach and renting a golf cart to head over to the grocery store or restaurants works perfect. The hosts provided great communication throughout the trip. Location was clean and offered all of the amenities we needed. We will be back!

well thought out property

They made smart use of every square inch of this property.. especially loved the outside shower area to get everyone cleaned off before coming in the house. The back yard was great for our service dog, and the laundry room was perfect for getting things stored until we needed them… only thing I would add would be some hooks in the laundry room to hang towels that are wet but not sandy from the outdoor shower so that you can throw them in the beach bag the next day !

Isle of palms stay

Perfect vacation rental, lovely, large fenced in backyard, our pup loved it, quiet, friendly neighborhood. Very clean, great beds and furniture, love the couch especially. Host's were very accommodating, we booked extra days at the last min, didn't want to leave, beautiful beach minutes away. Very nice welcome gift also. Thank you, can't wait to return....
