"We stayed 2 days and it was excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The large drawing room that overlooks Loch Melfort was also available for us to use which we enjoyed. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner on the evening of our arrival prepared and served by our host Mathew. This was our first visit to Melfort House and hopefully we will be back again soon."

"This is a beautiful property and well worth a visit. Despite my train arriving after check-in, it was very easy to access my room. The room was a good size and very clean. The hostess is friendly and extremely accommodating. If you use public transportation, be aware that the property is near Pulpit Hill, so there is some steep walking. "I am rooting for these guys! It’s a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots.
