"We spent the New Year on Bute and the was in the perfect location not only for its views over the Firth, but also for exploring the rest of the island. It did feel a little chilly on arrival, but with the clear instructions we were soon able to get it feeling nice and warm. We had to extend our visit for another night as we didn't realise the ferries didn't run on Bank Holiday, but this was not a problem - for Campbell or for us!! "Great location in centre of Helensburgh. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The one negative was actually finding it. "

"I did not get access to the property from the host. After messaging and calling multiple times and getting no response, I never received checkin information."

"It was very central . "

"The property was clean and tidy. We were met on time by property manager. Central heating was easy to switch on and kept flat cosy. We turned off bedroom heater as there was no window on bedroom. We kept front windows in kitchen and living room open all week to get some air flow in flat. Lovely flat walks within 50yards of property and shops also very close."

"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

"Great location for ferry and amenities in Rothesay. Extremely comfortable accommodation. The island is beautiful and the people warm and welcoming. Would dispute on street parking outside flat ad we got a £50 ticket."

"Enjoyed Troon. Great restaurants and location to golf courses. Out of the big city rat race."

"It done what it said a clean place to stay while visiting had everything we needed. Quite building nice neighbours. Walkung distance to shops and food place 5 min from pub. Warm cosy flat. Definitely booking again. "

"Had a great stay. Scenery stunning. People in local shop and pub/hotel very helpful with suggestions for things to do. Appartment well fitted out. Plenty of room for the five of us."
