"Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor. "Stayed here for several days in Feb 2025 to ski at nearby Jay Peak and Burke Mtn. Both ski locations are about 45 minutes away — easily commutable. The property is recently renovated and very comfortable. Design style is appealing and the entire house is well furnished and comfortable. "Clean and comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights. Our dog loved the very large, fenced in, backyard. We didn't use the deck or the firepit, but both looked nice. Inside the house was clean and had comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well stocked. Large TVs in the living room, master bedroom and 1 other bedroom. "

"The three of us older ladies just wanted a quick getaway to relax & enjoy each others company! The house was very comfortable & nicely decorated with attention to details that we all appreciated! For example, there were cozy blankets to snuggle with, teas, hot cocoa supplied & a towel warmer in the bathroom ! We didn't end up going to the state park but drove by & it looked great!"

"The place is right in town within eyeshot of the trailhead, and a stone’s throw from the Tiki Bar (a landmark for cyclists). Interior is excellent, fully updated and great for a group (6 beds, large kitchen, big dining table and comfortable living room). Has a lockable bike shed too. We stayed for three days (rode for 2 and skied for 1). Had an amazing time, will be back!"
