"We met friends on this trip. The property has great windows overlooking Lake Superior. The sun rises were beautiful. We are in for most meals and used the well stocked kitchen. "The highlight of this property is the location. It's close to so many great places to explore and the lot is beautiful. The view and access to the lake is unbeatable and the grounds are fantastic and well-maintained. We had some housekeeping concerns when we arrived; the property manager responded quickly and was very friendly but would obviously prefer not to start a vacation with any issues. "

"The location of this property is gorgeous and the home is reasonably comfortable. If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. Having grandchildren playing on the deck, with sliding glass door viewing into the shower, is not ideal. We read the reviews and brought our own curtain to cover the window. We left them behind so maybe the owner...

"We loved our stay in Ely. The property is new, well equipped and setup nicely to handle large groups (we were 8 adults and one infant). Marcus and Abby were very accessible and addressed the few minor requests we had proactively (with follow up to make sure we were happy with the results). If we can get the crew together again next year - we will definitely come back to the Ely Cabin. "
