"If you are considering staying on Cape Breton - stop your search as this is your place! Of the many vacation rentals that we have experienced, this is by far the nicest rental from the property, surrounding, and owners/managers. The owners were on-site to attend to any issue, help start fires for marshmallows, light the wood-fired hot tubs and give directions to hikes, farm shares and fishmongers. "We stayed here two short nights and we’re already planning a trip back in the fall to see the colours on Cape Breton. The owner met us as we arrived and we proceeded to get a brief tour of the property. They have thought of everything! "Margaree cottage was great. The views are amazing from the cottage. Very clean and well equipped. Gus and Gert were excellent hosts."

"Centrally located, my stay at The Lookout allowed me to attend three outstanding Celtic Colours concerts in Judique, Cheticamp and Mabou. The accommodation is all that was promised… spotless, all amenities, comfortable bed, great shower, cozy even as the October temperatures dipped and wind drove the waves along the coast. One morning, I walked to the shore on the private path… here are some of my impressions— Collindale I walk a well-tended path to the shore past the lonely cormorant...

"What a great little cabin tucked away from it all! We thought we were WAY off the beaten path because of the way we arrived, only to find coming in from the other end of the road was a much closer trip into town. The place was spotless and we loved the privacy. View was outstanding and the private beach was such a treat. Had dinner at the Clove Hitch - delicious. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone traveling to this area. "
