This lovely semi-detached, single-storey cottage is based in the busy village of Drumnadrochit, making it an ideal base for those wishing to explore the Highlands. A short walk from the village will take you to the shores of Loch Ness and the stunning ruins of Urqhuart Castle. Slightly further afield, Glen Affric, Glen Urqhuart and The Great Glen Way offer superb walking and cycling, whilst the Moray Coastline is dotted with unspoilt sandy beaches, abundant wildlife and boat trips to spot dolphins. Follow the Strathspey whisky trail to sample a wee dram, or head south to Fort Augustus where Loch Ness joins the Caledonian Canal. For the outdoor enthusiasts, mountain biking, hill walking, horse riding, golf and a variety of water sports are available nearby.
