It was so convenient to the shops/lake, etc. The floor-plan gave us all privacy as well as great areas for group hangout, conversations, and fun. "This house was great, especially the backyard oasis. We were a group of four (two couples 60+) who spent four days alternating between hiking Joshua Tree and exploring the Palm Springs area. While it was a drive to get to each, the house was conveniently located in the middle. We loved having the hot tub to come home to every afternoon. The star gazing in the backyard was also cool. Not dark enough to see the defined Milky Way, but still amazing. We highly recommend Pappy and Harriet’s, as well...

"I stayed here while visiting the wolf sanctuary in Lucerne Valley, like that it is so much cooler in Big Bear. Cabin was cute and comfortable, wish it had been cooler time a year so I could have used the beautiful fireplace. Will love to stay there again on my next visit. "
