**Accommodations for Up to 14 Guests:**

- 5 spacious staterooms with king or queen beds, 2 with ensuite bathrooms.
- The "Stowaway's stateroom" is a family suite with 2 convertible king beds and a kid's loft (perfect for 2 kids ages 10 and under). (Note: Guests in the Stowaway stateroom must pass through another guest room to access the bathroom.)
- Additional amenities include a lower deck coffee bar and stunning artwork by Canadian artists, Dale and Candace Heath.

Wonderful Experience!
The Land Yacht was spacious, comfortable, well furnished and had a great view of the bay especially from the solarium. The kitchen had everything you would need and then some. Our pluses included kayaking, bicycling and swimming in the pool and the bay. Bring your bikes and snorkeling gear. The host, Thomas (pardon me, the Captain as you’ll learn!), was friendly, helpful, paid attention to detail and close by if needed. The location was ideal for day trips to Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggy’s Cove, Bay of Fundy, etc. Our stay was relaxed and refreshing. We highly recommend a stay at the Yacht.

The land yacht is a must stay!
We absolutely adored the Land yacht and definitely will be returning. Watching the sea from the solarium was the highlight. Between kayaking with the seals and watching the harbour porpoises swim and play, this is the place to be. 20 minute drive to Halifax and Peggy's cove and back home after a day of site seeing to relax in the indoor salt pool. 11 of us enjoyed every minute. Thank you again for having us Captain!

Canada Day weekend
This property and space are beautiful! Very well kept and lots of nautical details. It was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. The place has everything you need. We brought too much stuff that was not necessary. Thomas and Melanie have thought of everything. Lots of towels, bedding, paper towel and toilet paper, garbage bags, recycling bags as well as all the essentials needed to cook in the kitchen and on the bbq. Lots of propane! You don’t need to pack any household items. The garage is also equipped with everything you need for outside fun! A dozen lawn chairs, life jackets of all sizes, roasting sticks for the camp fire, as well as unlimited firewood! The kayaks fit two people each and they have three! For lawn games they had a high end ladder ball set and we just brought our own washer toss. Check out the amenities list! Just an fyi that the description of the lay out of rooms downstairs explains that you need to walk through the state room to get to the other room but there are many doors to access both rooms from outside without having to pass through an occupied room. Oh and the mosquitos and black flies were not bad at all! You get a cool breeze from the ocean at night so you hardly see any, very minimal. I brought citronella candles that I did not even open! Also to note for those sun addicts, they get sun all day and the back side of the land yacht is shielded from the wind! Highly recommend! We had an amazing stay! Thanks to the Land Yacht!

Perfect for Family Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our extended family vacation at the land yacht! We had a larger group and found that we had plenty of space. The pool was a big hit with the kids and the solarium was a favourite spot for drinking morning coffees. The space was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We found sea glass on the beaches and there is convenient access to the trail system across the road. Can't wait to come back!

Breathtaking
Myself, my husband and our 4 children stayed at this beautiful house for our March Break. The house is gorgeous, it has everything you need to entertain all ages. It is fully loaded and the hosts were always available if we needed anything at all. We are extremely happy with our experience and the kids cried leaving the house (the pool was a huge hit!!!) We will absolutely book again!

The Land Yacht is fabulous for our group of 13. The view is second to none. So bright and spacious.
This was our second stay. Overall pleased with how well stocked the house is. The owners have thought of pretty much everything. (Couldn’t find a wire whisk) lol. The only down side is the water pressure. I don’t remember it being quite as low last year but for a long weekend the positives far out weigh the negative. One of our favourite places to have our winter getaway. Thank you once again for being so accommodating.

Perfect for our large gathering
We enjoyed our stay at the Land Yacht. There was plenty of room for our large group. The house was well stocked with every kitchen item you might need, games, towels, you name it. We enjoyed the pool, and especially the fireplace. It was a perfect place to be storm stayed.

Wonderful family getaway

Outstanding!!
This property is so much more than just a place to stay, it's an experience not to be missed. We stayed as a multi-generational family and there was something for everyone to enjoy. In additional to having an amazing ocean view, the kitchen is well equipped, the living area is homey and the rooms are comfortable. It feels like a cottage oasis when you're in the house sitting by the fire but all the amenities that you could need are only a 10 minute drive away. The host is incredibly responsive and accommodating. Upgrades have been made since our stay one year ago and all the little touches made our stay even better. I highly recommend this property.

Family gathering
The location is excellent: close to the highway, the city and the attractions of the south shore. We had one guest in a wheelchair and he was most impressed- he spent time both in the pool and the ocean; absolutely loved it. It was a family gathering and we had planned both a feast of lobster and a turkey dinner. We had taken certain things with us including a lobster pot and lobster shears, but overall the kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in. The “great room” and surrounding enclosed balcony is well laid out and a pleasure in which to relax. It is large enough to escape in: for some to play crib, others to read, some to chat and others just to watch the changing sky. All in all a great four days .

Spacious, amazing views
Housed a large family reunion, everyone had plenty of space for quiet time and together fun. The pool was a fantastic hit for all. We cooked, baked, barbeque'd and made bread. The views resembled a veranda from a cruise ship, calm water -- lives up to the Land Yacht title. Truly a great getaway

The house is beautiful with amazing views of the bay. Two of our family members could not make this family reunion so we were a party of five. If we had been the original party of seven, it would have been difficult to arrange everyone comfortably in the bedrooms. the downstairs bedrooms were very warm with no windows to open.

Beautiful and scenic property
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The views were spectacular. Its a beautifully decorated home that is FULLY stocked. Lots of space and the response time when we had any questions was next to none. We'd definitely come back again.
