"Never checked in. Waited 45 minutes for someone to show up after “Bill” told us Elizabeth would be there in 15 minutes. Outside property was a mess and looked more like a junk yard than anything resembling accommodations. Filed complaint with VRBO and waiting to hear back about a full refund. Had to find another place to stay on very short notice. This listing should be pulled off your site. "

"This is a great property to stay at. A basement apartment (approximately 12 stairs down) in a quiet neighborhood that is stocked with everything you need as well as some of the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room supplies that you will need. The hosts were great! They made sure I had whatever I needed, answered all my "tourist" questions but at the same time didn't bother me unnecessarily. They made sure that the parking spot that is reserved for their guests is ALWAYS free of snow and ice...

"Place was nice and had all the things needed for 2 people. Kitchen supplies were better than most places with all upgrades pots and pans and utensils. Ladder might be a problem for some getting up to the loft for some. Only complaint is the door code was malfunctioning and had to wait for a back up person to come and open the door with a key from the key lock box. 1.5 hours to get in. Owner does not need to have a 10 digit code to open a door. In all my travels 4 to 5 code is efficient. And male...

"First off, what a view this property offers of Anchorage. Easy check in process which was great because we didn’t get in until about 2am. Used this mostly as a jumping off point while we hiked a glacier, saw the northern lights, dined in downtown Anchorage, and visited Girdwood. Host is kind and responsive. Wouldn’t have done our trip any other way "

"This wonderful spacious place on a large lot with wooded backyard is comfortable and cosy. The place is stocked with books, has a very comfortable bed and nice seating. It offered everything we needed for our 8 day stay. The kitchenette is very small, but sufficient if you are not planning on cooking big meals. We would definitely stay there again!"

"In the foothills overlooking Anchorage. Liked the location. Downstairs apartment with quite a few stairs so not good for anyone with problems walking or toting heavy suitcases. Some upstairs noise. Living room and kitchen quite small but we made do as we were gone most of the time. More suited to a couple than three though and not really set up for cooking meals. Two nice size bedrooms. Full size bathroom but could use some updating. Lovely porch with view of city. Nice quiet neighborhood."

"I came in for a doctors appointment in Anchorage and stayed here with my husband and two dogs. It was nice to be out of the city and I have the gorgeous views everywhere. I was able to get the rest and relaxation needed after the appointment. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, Spacious and beautiful views out the window. This is our go to spot whenever we come to Anchorage because it’s out of the city, quiet and everything we need is right there. Cannot say enough about this place."
