"My 22-y-o granddaughter joined me for her first trip out of the US. I chose this cottage for its proximity to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and the rocky coast. It was perfect for the two of us, plenty of room, very comfortable, well-supplied kitchen, excellent WiFi, and beautiful walks. The owners responded immediately and helpfully to a mechanical issue. Loved every minute!"

"If you are looking for a secluded spot, this is the place. We enjoyed going for walks and kayaking around the island. The kitchen is spacious so we did a fair bit of cooking, although it’s a short drive into town to go out to dinner if that’s what you prefer. The only drawback is that the downstairs bedroom was a bit loud because of pumps turning on and off at night, but if you’re a sound sleeper that shouldn’t be a problem. "

"We had a great time at the cottage. Our 2 year old grand daughter loved the s'mores by the fire. We brought along all we needed for Thanksgiving Dinner and the kitchen was so well equipped that we actually could have roasted our turkey there but we had that done at home. "Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe."

"We wanted to stay somewhere different than your regular hotel and this was beyond our expectation. The host was quick to respond and gave us some wonderful recommendations on places to eat. The kitchen was well stocked with anything that one would need. The outside space was wonderful to sit and have a morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again the next time I’m back in the area.
