"Stayed at this house to climb for a few days at Alabama Hills, which was like 10 minutes away. Super clean home. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed and futon were comfortable. Bedding was nice and cozy. On a quiet street, especially for a weekend. The owner was so nice and accommodating, even brought a new air mattress over for an extra person, along with an electric blanket to make sure we’d be warm. This will be my first choice for lodging every time I’m in Lone Pine. I highly...

"Overall it was an OK but not great stay. In a brief phone call the owner acknowledged that the property needs a lot of work, scheduled for January. Pluses: very clean, new bathroom, convenient location for shopping, restaurants, great views of the Sierra/Mount Whitney. Minuses: its an older manufactured home with some quirky features, worn carpet and cabinets, doors sticking and one of us had to tighten up a door handle that was ready to fall off."

"Great location. My wife and I enjoyed the location, perfect to take you road bike out and climb the big climbs. Sandwiched in between mt. whitney and horseshoe meadow. Short drive to Onion valley and white mountains. If you want the hard climbs this is the place to stay. Make sure you drive down tuttle road, its pretty nifty. "We had the most amazing stay. Lydia was a great host, check in and check out process super easy. She gave us plenty of local recommendations. The place was stunning, perfect for a couple. Views of Mt Whitney at your door step and super quiet area. The outdoor bathtub to soak in and enjoy the sunset was one of our favourite parts. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. "

"The Lonewest is a fabulous property with unobstructed and unbeatable views! The quiet and watching the wildlife was thoroughly enjoyable. We made use of the huge two-person tub right off the deck. "As described. My daughter and I made some amazing memories in Lone Pine. The stay in the bungalow was the icing on the cake. We made it a mile to the summit of Whitney and came back to a warm clean space with all the convinces of our home without the drive."
