This private/secluded log cabin is family owned and ready for you to enjoy. It has 1 loft bedroom with a sitting area and small balcony, 1 full bath, living area with dish TV, full kitchen with dining table, wood-burning fireplace, heat pump, wrap around deck with a covered front porch, gas grill, rocking chairs, fire pit in the front yard for 'smores, horse shoe pits, beautiful mountain views, and frequent wildlife (deer, fawn, turkey, squirrel, and possibly a bear).

Beautiful cabin up in the Mountains!
This is a wonderfully remote cabin that has all you need. It has really nice views and is close to many great attractions. Everything was super clean and accessible. I would come back in a second.

Super clean cabin in private setting
My wife and I stayed in the cabin for two nights and loved it. (It is literally the cleanest rental cabin we've ever stayed in.) Setting is beautiful - very private and peaceful. No internet and iffy cell service, but if you're prepared to disengage then this is a great place to do it.

Off The Grid Paradise
If you want to unplug, reboot, and heal your soul - this is the place for you! The cabin was amazing - but the location was stunning. With no light pollution, the night sky was breath taking! The only sounds you'll hear are those provided by nature and the crackling of your camp fire. We had no cell service at the property - which was a nice break from technology and phone calls. Lots of quaint towns to visit within a short driving distance.

Anniversary Getaway

Beautiful Getaway from Everyday Life
Absolutely better than the photos and description. Feels far enough away to give you the getaway that you wanted but close enough to town that if you really need something (like cell service or grocery items), you can take a short drive. Cell service is almost zero which really adds to the getaway feel. However, I would recommend downloading offline maps of the area before you arrive because service is sparce and if you're using a Maps app, you may lose service before it can tell you how to get to/from the cabin. I couldn't have had a better experience. The owners were communicative, the cabin and view were beautiful and it was a wonderful anniversary experience. My boyfriend and I would love to return when we can.

Peaceful Getaway
Landscaping is kept in excellent condition. Cabin is filled with generations of memories and collectibles. The owner welcomed us and gave good background information to enjoy and add to the overall ambience. And the wildlife was literally at our door step! I would definitely recommend this for any honeymoon/anniversary or just that peaceful getaway. 5 🌟 !!!

Perfect get away
This property was very clean. Most impressive. We loved seeing all the wildlife, come up in the back yard. The house was supplied with everything you need. We will def be back. Gorgeous view. Very secluded but close enough for you needs to town.

Relaxing autumn getaway
Cabin and location were perfect. Plenty of activities within an hour or less in every direction. View from the property made for many enjoyable evenings on the porch and at the fire pit. We were able to witness a couple small bucks battling for affection of the ladies. The Owners were polite and attentive. Would recommend.

Privacy at its Best
After a lot of winding roads and passing several cattle farms we drove up to the cabin at the top of the hill and it was absolutely beautiful. The yard was very well taken care of and the cabin was amazing. The trees surrounding the property made the place feel totally private. No neighbors, just privacy.

Total Relaxation
We were in much need of a beautiful location to unwind and relax! This precious cabin was absolutely perfect!! It’s tucked away so we had privacy! We enjoyed meeting the owners and learning a little about the area! We had a cozy fire each night and watched deer in the evening! It was hard to leave but we will be back! The cabin was spacious and decorated with so many familiar items like our parents and grandparents owned so it felt like stepping back in time and going home! We explored the mountains and backroads during the day and were in awe of the beautiful scenery! I’m already trying to plan our next visit!

Awesome place to unplug
Cool spot. Clean, quiet, remote, private and all the basic things you need to get away, chill, and do nothing. Go hear if you want to get away from technology and generally unplug. There is just enough cell service to make calls and text, and maybe check one or two things online, but not enough to sit around and surf the internet. This is a good thing. The property manager directed us to some good fishing spots nearby. Mount Rogers NRA is pretty close. Deer and wildlife hanging out. Nice outdoor fire pit.
