"Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!"

"The property was nice and clean with everything provided(apart from towels), Including free wifi, which was a nice surprise. One small criticism would be the mattress. They were a bit soft but that can be a personal thing. Anyway, lovely cozy property and i would have no hesitation visiting again in the future."

"House was nice and clean, and had everything we needed in it. The owners were very helpful and friendly . We had a dog with us , location was perfect for lovely walks with a dog. Overall it is a beautiful place to stay , I would definitely recommend it😊"

"Joanna was a wonderful host who made us feel like we were at home away from home. The property is lovely and peaceful, perfect for a quiet Christmas. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need! The wood burner in the livingroom made for a really cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be back again! "

Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. "House is very well designed and furnished to a very high standard and us only a 10 minute walk from the village and 5 minute walk to the golf course. The views from the decking area are beautiful. "Very pleased with the size of the rooms . The lounge had enough seating for all of our party (11) and the large dining table was excellent. The bedrooms were roomy, including a couch as well as beds. The only downside was the 3 bathrooms were some distance away. A toilet at either end would have been more practical. The kitchen was rather small but well equipped."
