"This was pretty close to a perfect island vacation that I could imagine. The resort is small but we didn't get a sense of cabin fever. There are 3 pools and a nice stretch of beach with great snorkeling right there. Daily activities including snorkel by boat, guided hikes on surrounding islands, fishing, etc helped ensure there was always something to do. "We stayed in one of the Jungle Bures and couldn`t be more happy! Just three steps from the beach and an absolutely quiet location (except for the waves breaking in the beach). The food is good and you have to consider the "ecological approach" that the resort undertook. But when you weight in the best coral reef you can imagine just beachfront, the spectacular and friendly staff and the fair price you pay, there isn`t a better place in this paradise."

"Our lasting memory of Nanuya Island Resort will be the welcoming and friendly staff. Their warmth and hospitality was appreciated - including the songs and entertainment! We stayed in one of the tree-top bures, which was a bit of a hike (especially after dinner). It was clean but quite small. "Bula! This may have been our favorite vacation of all time, hands down. From the first moment we stepped foot on Waya island and were greeted by the welcome song of the incredible staff till the moment we tearfully left we felt cared for, appreciated, and absolutely relaxed and happy. "Nice place, not so beautiful as other islands, but still awesome. Food was really good and staff was perfect. Shared facilities were good and very clean. I'm almost 40 and in Barefoot the average age was much lower. Not a problem for me though."

"Ficamos três noites na habitação 3, quarto muito bom, arejado, com duas portas de vidro com linda vista para o mar,que se abrem para o jardim. O quarto fica a poucos passos de duas cadeiras na sombra de uma árvore, na areia da praia. Lugar perfeito para um total relax, no quarto, na banheira, no jardim ou na praia. Mar calmo, com água quente, podemos nadar, andar de caiaque."

"My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house is set up well and the view from the balcony is lovely. Paula and Sarah cooked us amazing meals! The snorkelling with sharks was also amazing. Only thing we would say is that we felt we never saw Paula and bill and wish we could have seen them more! Perhaps this was also because of our short stay"

"Nice coral reef reached by kayak. They provide the layak for free. Friendly people. They offer nice activities like blue lagoon, I-sawa cave, reef hopping ect. See in the picture. We had a great evening with kava drink. The food is 100$Fijian/day. 50$/kid. (Breakfast, lunch, tea time and dinner). Water all day. We walked up to the hill for the sunset and was a beautiful landscape view."

"An authentic experience with a very friendly village."

"This is a small resort owned and run by Fijian family. It's very authentic, quiet and has beautiful settings. However it's not a "western style type resort." This is kinda like glamping with meals cooked for you. All you do is relax and enjoy the scenery :-) The bures are spacious and built in traditional Fijian style, including bathroom.
