"I traveled with my daughter and close friend to stay for a week. The house and the hostess did not disappoint. The house comes with a Landrover (with character) so we didn't have to rent a golf cart to get around the island. The house was wonderfully appointed and had everything that we needed for a truly relaxing getaway. There was a water view on the second floor back deck, spacious bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. We're glad we listened to the host and made a grocery-run to Trader Joe's...

"We arrived by ferry on cold and very rainy Monday night. We were apparently unexpected, and the house wasn't ready. Staff at the Inn picked us up at the ferry, and dropped us at the Inn while they checked the property. They brought sheets to make the bed, which wasn't made. The house was musty and dirty, the bathroom had not been cleaned, floors had not been mopped, blankets and dish towels were musty and unusable, there were no potholders, and dishes were left in the dish drainer from previous...

"This house is very nice upstairs and we thoroughly enjoyed our first day there. However the upper part has only one bedroom. Our daughter and two children slept downstairs. There was a definite musty odor as others had reported and we learned why. My daughter heard critters in the walls the first night. Then we had a hard rain and the water began to seep up into the carpet and puddle on tiles. When we saw the mouse run by we knew it was time to leave. It took hours of phone calls and photos...
