The photos on the website showed a clean, modern, and welcoming environment, but the reality was starkly different. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the state of the carpet. "The Waters is a delightful country house in the Burren. Maria and Wolfgang are impeccable hosts. The house has beautifully decorated sitting areas. We had a lovely evening in the sitting area - chatting with other guests. Breakfast was delicious - very fresh vegetables with hearty eggs. Highly recommend.
