"We had a wonderful time at Breakers West. The condo was absolutely spotless. It was the only condo group that was occupied due to the recent storms. The shells were piled up 3-4 feet in some spots on the beach due to the storms. The Island is rebuilding but we found plenty of spots open for lunch and dinner. The condo was a very short walk to the beach and it had everything we needed for a week stay. We would highly recommend this property."

"Very short walk to a nice beach where the fishing was outstanding. Canal very handy in the back yard for a boat. Minimal furniture, for example nothing to set a suitcase on, but essentials were there. It was very clean and smelled fresh. The main bed was comfortable. We didn't use the twine."

"Ralph was the most responsive and helpful host I have ever dealt with in all the years I have been using VRBO and other on line rental sites. Pool was great and view was amazing. Close to many things in Sanibel which of course is a great island and recovering from the storms but still has its charm."

Steve checked in with us throughout and we had no problems. The unit is just as pretty as it looks in the listing. Bonus: the shelling and dolphin sightings were spectacular!"

"Location is marvelous: Quiet, surrounded by nature. The porch alone is worth the stay, and having the beach a mere mile or so down the road? Eliminates questions about what to do (but bring footware!) Challenges: keycode system is insane, and also non-functional. Glad we had the keys instead. "Breakaway Property Management answered my texts & calls promptly, they were helpful and polite. Location is close to the causeway and beach, with many paths leading to the water. The condo is comfortable with nice furnishings. The aesthetic is calming, clean, and roomy. "Great location and very comfortable cottage, but kitchen equipment almost non existent. We didn’t need to use the enormous oven but no oven ware at all if we did. Very little workspace due to unnecessarily huge oven and sink. Outside space was nice but was in full sun with no shade at all so we couldn’t use it. Bed was great but bathroom tiny and could do with a shelf and a shower gel holder."
