"Because of this private location when you look out your window all you see are trees and bushes. However it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach."

"We loved the Warlock house! It’s just as fun as the pictures and description make it look. The decor and lighting sets such a cool atmosphere. Great location for walking to most everything to do in Salem. Beds are comfy, and everything you could need in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend!!"

"The house was very clean as promised. It has great potential if owners would update the furnishings of the house. While the furniture was very clean it was mostly worn out. Definitely not up to par with other properties we have stayed in associated with VRBO. The outside has got to be cleaned up. Abandoned swimming pool with tall brush growing up around it and what’s up with the junked Bass boat in the back yard. If I was a neighbor I would contact local government agency to get this yard...

"the house has some misleading photos online vs what it looks like in person- there are some different couches, etc pictured. then there are the pictures of what the property actually looks like as well. this wasn’t a big deal but just made the listing a bit inaccurate. they also mentioned having a hair dryer for guest use on the property, and did not have one. the neighborhood was nice, it was very quiet and felt very safe. the heating was working when we arrived, then by the next morning it...

"The house is cozy, quick walk to the beach. A bit drafty in the colder temps despite the heaters. Mostly near the back door and windows. Bedding was very comfortable. Leslie was quick to help as needed. "

"I spent two weeks in the property and loved it. The host was immediately available and one issue with the heat was addressed right away. Cute place with great New England vibes. I was able to work from the property with no issues as well. Beautiful walk down to the cove and a very short drive up the road to the State Park. Great location! "

"This is a nice summer stay. The beach is just across the road (a busy road). It has everything you need. However, as an off season it is not so great. There’s a very good heat pump so being cold was not the issue, it’s the door. Not sealed well so it rattled with the wind and let in cold air. I sealed it with a newspaper to stop the rattle and cold air. The floor is also somewhat slippery when shoes are wet from rain. I all minor when there during the summer. "

"Delighted to stay in this small village antique, walking distance to the village coffee shop and to Bearskin Neck. The place was clean and cozy, and as described in the listing. The bathroom is small but functional, and the stairs are super steep but the handrail makes them safe. Our host was responsive and kind. We'd stay here again!"

"From start to finish it was exceptional. Scott was a great host, checked in to see if we needed anything. The place was clean and had everything we could ever ask for. It was an amazing stay and we will definitely be back!"
