"Very good value for money. The house has beautiful views and a lovely breeze. A good kitchen and two good sized bedrooms. Ato the caretaker was very helpful and Clotilde,the owner was very accommodating. The island offers a good selection of restaurants within walking distance. On the other hand. The power station below the house is noisy 24/7. There are no air conditioning or window or door screens so bug juice for the mosquitoes is essential. There’s no hot water so getting in the shower...

"The apartment was very clean and the area was very quiet. There were no eateries close by so you will need to contact a taxi to get a real meal. The bank was within walking distance and it’s a nice walk to the beach. Overall real nice property would definitely stay again. "

"Wir waren begeistert und werden wiederkommen! Die Chatham Bay ist eine ca. 2km lange Bucht auf der windgeschützten Seite von Union Island. Die Anreise ist nur per Fähre und dann per Wassertaxi (ca. 20 min) möglich. Oder als Segler. Es gibt keine regelmäßigen Flüge nach Union Island. Die Bucht hat durchgehenden Sandstrand, der nach ca. 10m über eine kleinere Felskante in tieferes Wasser übergeht. Durch diese Felskante ist die gesamte Bucht ein Schnorchelparadies.
