"We didn't found the accommodation it wasn't on the Adresse where they said. We were there around 18.00 but the phone number that we found wasn't right a old employer how worked there. In the and we booked a other Hotel."

"Enjoyed the stay. Kids took the bunk beds and the adult couples took a bedroom each. Kitchen and dining room were clean. Surrounding area ideal for walking / jogging. Plenty of coffee shops nearby. Highly recommended for large family group of 10-15 people. "

"No one worked reception desk when I arrived. I waited along time with no help. I found the room key and went to the room. No towel, no hot water, no remote control for the TV. They turned off the electricity to the shower hot water, only on once a day, but never at the same time. "

"EXPEDIAで予約完了後、チェックインに部屋が無いと言われました。このあとが最悪です。ホテルへ30万ドン（約1500円）直接払えば部屋は用意すると直接取引を提案してきました。こちらは既にexpediaへ返金不可の条件で支払済と伝えると、 expediaのサービスセンターへホテル側が電話をして、expediaへの部屋の用意はないと伝えていたようです。私に電話を変わり、expedia側から上記の説明を受け、expediaとオテル側の起因でキャンセルとさせて頂き、請求は取り消しする旨の案内を受けたため、了承し他のホテルへ泊まることに。。。ところが請求がしかっりカード会社に計上されており、相殺目的のマイナス請求も未だ確認できていません。ホテルの直取引の提案、expediaのキャンセル未処理、双方に怒りを覚えてます。"

"when we first arrived at Halo Homestay - we were concerned because it was not in a very nice area. We didn't realise how big Halong Bay city is. we were expecting sleepy little fishing village!! NOT!! there are 2 distinct areas 1. locals 2. tourists. This homestay is in the locals area. "I never write reviews, but I want to save others from the pain of this area. The staff was very unhelpful with everything. It was the first time in Vietnam that I felt unwelcome. They told me they would give me a ride to my cruise line, but when the time came they said they couldn’t. I then asked for a taxi and the staff told me they didn’t know where the cruise port was. I find it strange that a hotel in the area didn’t know where the cruise port was. I also asked how to get to Monkey Island...
