"We had a wonderful time at Island Place. It is a great location and we enjoyed many of the restaurants near the property. The staff of Island Place were very kind and set this place apart from other Bar Harbor options. We were heading into town for a wedding and they helped make sure we were checked in and ready to go! We would definitely stay here again! "

"The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure. The gifts that were left in the place was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone we know coming to Maine - bar harbor. "

"The house is so cute and our room was lovely. Host was super responsive to problems. The room had a great set up in terms of furniture and the bathroom. Loved having a fridge. You probably are more attentive than me but I didn’t understand that there was no microwave on property so just plan accordingly. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was nicely decorated, clean, and had new amenities. The location was great for walking around Bar Harbor restaurants and shops. We easily took the bus from town to Acadia and were only a short drive to the park when needed. There was a some street noise from downstairs but nothing that was too bothersome. No parking issues either."
