"The house is a cute cottage however pretty rough around the edges, in the process of being tidied up but still a way to go. The interior living area was very spacious as was the kitchen The beds were clean and comfortable, and the facilities were fine. "My husband and I and our Frenchie Cruz, enjoyed our stay. The cottage was comfortable and welcoming and had what need to feel at home. The enclosed garden is lovely and offers a pleasant spot to eny a cup of tea or cold drink. Finding a pet friendly place to stay near Hobart is an absolute bonus!"

"The accommodation is opposite the main house but is private and overlooks the dam. We enjoyed watching the chickens and paddymelons. There didn't seem to be anywhere to walk or explore the property, but we weren't there long enough to ask. The accommodation itself is lovely - very comfortable bed and kitchen with everything you need. It was a very nice place to stay overnight before heading to Bruny."

"Beautiful cottage. Pretty and quaint. Gardens beautiful. Position of house it is adjacent to was a spoiler for us. We were envisioning sitting out looking over valley enjoying view, not rooftop so close.The hostess was very hospitable and had put beautiful roses in room. Not being able to go for a nice bush walk was disappointing. For relaxation and comfort though this was exceptional. "

"Really enjoyed staying at the Heritage Garden Cottage. The location is brilliant for access to Salamanca Place and all of the excellent eateries close by. It's a heritage area surrounded by gorgeous early Australian architecture and steeped in history. "Accommodation was very well-presented, nice views and included breakfast delivered to the door around 8:30am. There was a number of wallabies on the lawn outside our apartment around dusk which was a nice experience. One criticism, though, was that the room was very stuffy. Despite our best efforts, the air-conditioning kept resetting to a temperature higher than we would have liked. "
