"We had been looking forward to our trip to Madeira, which we had prepared very carefully. It was our intention to travel to Madeira from 7/4/2020 - 18/4/2020. Daniel Oliveira and his son Igor always answered our questions and were always easy to reach! In our opinion, their house is well located. Close to Funchal and yet a bit higher and quieter, above the bustle of the city.... We were unlucky that before our departure a state of emergency was declared in portugal because of the worldwide...

"Aivan loistava huoneisto. Kun saavuttiin paikalle, meitä oltiin vastassa ja saatiin kattava esittely huoneistosta. Huoneisto sijaitsee noin kilometrin päässä Funchalin keskustasta korkealla kattojen yllä. Aamuisin oli ihanaa seurata kaupungin heräämistä, sillä näkymä oli huikea kaupungin yli, merelle saakka. Ainoa huomionarvoinen asia on se, että tie keskustaan on alamäkeä ja takaisin jyrkkää nousua. Menimme kävellen keskustaan ja tulimme toisinaan taksilla takaisin ylös, joka maksoi keskustasta...

"Doesn’t have an oven or grill as listed. BBQ which is listed is broken. Makes it difficult when you stock up on the way expecting these things. A few small things like no ironing board (there js one listed) so had to ask for one to be delivered. Small things like no bin bags provided (even though you can’t flush toilet roll so need them). No information provided regarding how difficult it is to get a taxi back in the evening - twice a taxi from town couldn’t make it all the way back due to steep...
