"This is a little overdue, however I definitely wanted to post this. So I rolled in here on Friday February 2nd for a skiing weekend at Cape Smokey, and was due to check out Sunday morning February 4th...but after 120 cm of snow over the weekend, I didn't get out until February 6th. All I can say is that the staff were absolutely outstanding in what must have been a difficult situation for them in what was one of the worst snowstorms in decades. "The landscape is beautiful, with easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the restaurant that offers live music and appreciated the proximity of various dining options. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, we did notice spiders, flies, and mosquitoes in our room, indicating a need for pest control. Additionally, the toilet bowl is too low, which may not be safe for guests with knee problems or osteoarthritis."
