"I didnt know what to expect when I booked it. Arrival was by bus from the airport to the harbour and boat to the island. The harbour is not easy to maneuvere, and not advisable for anyone with mobility issues. There are 16 cottages and they are small but lovely, mine [number 1] was right on the beach. The staff and boatmen are lovely and nothing is a problem to them, including arranging excursions for you. Food is good and pool area great. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful week."

"Wonderful place! Attentive staff, from welcome drinks to expenses brought to your chalet. Very calm climate. I'm not a fan of bats and they didn't bother you at all! They organized a beautiful dinner on the beach that culminated with an engagement request!"

"The property itself if outdated, the rooms only have fans for ventilation. But you get what you paid for, i say the place is decent for budget travelers. What i loved about this place is the staff! They are very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The place is also surrounded with restaurants and gift shops, "

"Stayed three nights. Wifi never even once worked during our stay. The staff was polite but nothing really worked like it should and even ordering a couple of beers was sometimes too much to get right the first time. Luckily there is a great restaurant adjacent, Ann & Mike that has great food and excellent staff. Anyone staying at pierhouse I would recommend outsourcing all your dining and drinking needs to Ann & Mike, even the prices were considerable lower there."
