Enjoy a stay at a quaint, cozy yet modern cabin with lots of character and newer amenities. The cabin is pet friendly and the yard is fully gated. It is located in the great Fern Valley neighborhood and is within walking distance to Strawberry Creek , Restaurant and shops . This amazing cabin has a nice Oasis garden full of wild grapes and cherry, apple, and fig trees. It also has a large patio with a new top of the line Jacuzzi Hot Tub/Spa and a magnificent view of Tahquitz Rock and the
surrounding mountains as well as the evening stars. The patio is ideal for sun bathing, dining, reading, or relaxing. We also have a BBQ on site.
There is another One bedroom/One bath cabin next door that is also available for rental for larger groups. Please contact owner/manager if interested, Kathy 714-235-0515

The cabin itself has a modern kitchen, with complete china sets, pots , pan and all utensils and serving dishes, coffee maker, toaster and small appliances. Dining table that seats 4 people, living room with wood burning fire place, heaters and a bedroom with a luxurious queen sized bed. Master Bathroom has a jet hot tub, we also provide toiletries for your convenience but encourage to bring your favorite toiletries as well. All rooms have cable TV with flat screens TV. The living room has HD Flat Screen with Broadband (High Speed)Internet access and cordless telephone with free local and long distance service in the United States. There is Air conditioning, and washer/dryer. Pet's are welcome for an extra fee, expecting your pet is fully house broken, please disclose the pet's breed. Pet's are not to lay on the furniture and bed.

Great retreat!!

Had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect!! It was located near shops and restaurants so we had lots to do!!The spa was divine!!The view in the back of lily rock was amazing!!! Thanks!!

Nice cabin, but needs work

start with the positives. cabin had good amenities, was clean. Even though we brought some stuff, it had plenty of towels, kitchen appliances, extra blankets, coffee etc. The hot tub was clean worked well, and was the perfect way to end a day of hikes and shopping. Cabin was also in a good quiet neighborhood just far enough from the main center of town for some peace and quiet but super close.As for the negatives, I wish i could get at least a refund on my first night. We got to the area early from san diego and drove by and noticed that the entire driveway, front yard and patio where still covered in deep snow. It was a busy weekend but other vacation homes just next door were all plowed by some company. We contacted the host, who was very nice, and told her about this, grabbed lunch came back hours later and still nothing was done. I had to floor it into the drive way with my jeep and shovel snow for an hour just to get it off the street and then walk all of our luggage through almost a foot of snow, shovel more snow off the patio just to get in. Then once in turn on the heater which took an entire day to warm the place up, even though the host said that they leave the heater on it was 40 inside. No hot water except for the kitchen and 2 of the tvs didnt work. I had to fix things MYSELF and maintenance finally came to shovel only the patio.it was cool cabin the next 2 days but had so many issues that first night that should have been checked before we got there.

Quaint cabin that needs some love

We have visited Idyllwild many times and selected this cabin for a dishwasher among the amenities. When we arrived there was no DW, the driveway gate was broken, and the exhaust fan for the gas stove didn't work. We contacted the host who corrected the DW listing in VRBO, called a handyman for the gate and did not resolve our concern about the exhaust fan. During our 6 night stay we found at least 5 light bulbs out; windows that either would not open, stay open, or lock; kitchen cabinet doors that don't close; control knobs broken off the stacked washer/dryer so you cannot select the wash cycle or use the dryer; and broken toggle closures for the spa cover so it cannot be locked. While the cabin overall is clean, we found cigarette butts on the back porch, many scuff marks on the walls, and the underside of the kitchen trash can lid was filthy. Outside the paint is peeling off the wood trim and roof shingles are coming off in at least two places. We liked the cabin's location, open floor plan, comfy beds and large deck with partial mountain views. Hopefully the hosts will attend to the maintenance and repairs necessary for guests to fully and safely enjoy this quaint cabin.

Great location, quiet and accommodating

Stayed there for my birthday with my fiancé and our lab! Overall, we were very comfortable there, the location is perfect, just a little out of town enough to be quiet, but close enough to be convenient. Comfortable beds, kitchen has everything you need for the most part. Kathy was very communicative and super accommodating. Fireplace was a little difficult to keep a good fire going, but we managed. Great having the hot tub, especially in winter!

Perfect getaway cabin for the weekend

This beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin was so cute and comfortable to stay in for the weekend! Quiet neighborhood and friendly townsfolk! Perfect for dogs and small families! Will absolutely stay again in the future!

Great weekend getaway

I’ve stayed here a couple of times. A Private, quiet, property close to town, hiking and other activities. The house has everything we need For a brief weekend away. Home is clean and owner is very responsive. Highly recommend!

Mountain getaway

The perfect cozy cabin. I think our family 5 was just a little too much for the size of the cabin though. Also, internet is super inconsistent making it hard to put on movies for our littles. Highly recommend for a couple the jacuzzi is an awesome addition!

Fun in the snow

Nice place with hot tub! There was quite a bit of snow which was fun for all! The kitchen is well equipped but wish there would have been a coffee maker. Otherwise, we had a great time!

Cute Cabin Getaway Close to Town

Had a great stay at this cabin with our 5yr old. Jacuzzi and fire place were nice amenities to have in the winter months. Cabin was very clean and just a quick 4 min drive to town. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Location - Peaceful with great views

The location is great - a short walk into town. The hot tub is lovely particularly during a white Christmas! A few things to improve the experience. The internet really is quite spotty as others have mentioned. Not an issue for email but makes watching a streaming show unpleasant. The kitchen really needs a stove hood. We cooked 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed and each time the cabin would fill with smoke from the stove necessitating opening windows - in 30 degree weather. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom and amenities wonderful. Still recommend it and look forward to coming back.

Great place to stay

The house was very cozy and had everything you could possibly need. Kitchen was fully stocked with every small appliance, dishes, pots, pans etc. Bathrooms also stocked with many toiletries, soap, body wash and lotion. Owners were very responsive when I contacted them. Hot tub was a nice bonus.

Restful and relaxing

A stylish and comfortable cabin in Idyllwild's Fern Valley, one of my fav neighborhoods on the hill. It was peaceful, spotlessly clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Didn't use the wood burning stove, but the hot tub was a terrific treat after an intense hike. Was a little confused by the WiFi on the first night, but Kathy got right back to me with guidance even though it was late in the evening. Thank you for the delightful accommodations!

Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I wanted to get away for our 9yr anniversary, something we've NEVER done. I have to say it truly was a breath of fresh air (literally lol). Located in a perfect area hidden just enough from the road and neighbors. Only thing that was a bummer heater didn't work and only one working space heater, but being able to use the fireplace made up for it! ☺️ My husband loved the bed, a bit firm for my taste still good though. As another review mentioned I'd bring extra towels if you're going to use the hot tub. Using the hot to was great! There were some WIFI issues and T-Mobile seems to not get service up there unless you're in the town so we grabbed some dinner and they were able to get back to us before we headed back, literally like 3mins away from town. No biggie. Oven didn't work for us, but the microwave and stove were just fine. Not sure if it was just because it's starting to get colder, the water temperature for the shower never got that warm, just enough to be ok rinsing off though. Instructions on how to use the TV is on the back of the controllers, we had to be on HDMI 1 to work in the living room just a heads up. Make sure cord is plugged in all the way. All in all we LOVED it and can't wait to go back. Felt at peace, we didn't want to leave and reminded my husband of where he grew up. Thank you for hosting us!

Chic vacation cabin

Had a great weekend with just the ladies! Check in and out was easy! Google maps had trouble getting us there because of a detour and my service being poor but, we found it! The cabin is inviting and chic which made it comfortable. Easy communication with Kathy or Bob, prompt response to messages through the Vrbo app. Bring your own towels for the hot tub unless you don't mind using the same towel for a shower. Beautiful relaxing property, especially in the evening while soaking.

Weekend getaway

The property was a good size for our family of 5. My kids really enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen had what we needed but there wasn’t a dishwasher. There were some personal items that were left there like a used toothbrush and used bars of soap. I think for hygiene purposes liquid body wash dispensers would be more appropriate. Kathy was responsive and answered my texts/messages. The internet was down and she responded but we learned that the whole town was having issues with their internet. I did appreciate her being responsive and offering to call the internet company. In the end we disconnected from the outside world and reconnected as a family which is what the trip was all about. The location was good and I really liked sitting out in the deck surrounded by the trees ans nature.
