Life's a Hoot is a 2 bedroom 2 bath luxury cabin located in the Kaniatobe Trails area near the Kiamichi wilderness. Close to the Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, Cedar Creek Golf Course, Abendigoā€™s Grill & Fine Dining, Grateful Head Pizza, and the Blue Rooster,Life's a Hoot is the perfect place for relaxation or fun-filled activities and dining.

Life's a Hoot offers an open floor plan perfect for cooking, visiting, or catching your favorite movie on the flat-screen satellite TV. The fully furnished kitchen comes with everything except the groceries!

Youā€™ll have plenty of space for a good nightā€™s sleep at the Life's a Hoot! It offers 1 king bedroom and 1 queen bedroom (both located downstairs). The upstairs loft area has a bunkbed in a sleeping nook. A full sized bath is located in the hallway downstairs, and upstairs there is a full sized bath with tub/shower combo located in the loft area. Each bedroom has a flat-screen, satellite TV and thereā€™s a pool table in the loft.

Sip your morning coffee or relax in the hot tub while enjoying the sunset on the covered deck! There is also a kids fort playground off the back deck for hours of entertainment .Chances are youā€™ll have the opportunity to watch the wildlife feeding too!

Lifeā€™s definitely a Hoot

Great place to take the family. Lots of bonding time. Hot tub was amazing. Even had a bunk bed upstairs where the listing showed a couch which was even better. Read some reviews before I booked and pool table and sticks were in rough shape so donā€™t go for the pool table. Master bed frame and mattress was also in need of repair/replacement but cabin was amazing. Double grills outside and fire pit was the best.

It was a beautiful cabin. We had a great time and my son enjoyed the big yard and play house. The only downside was the beds were very noisy and uncomfortable but all around a good experience!

Got Children?

Overall, it was fine. First impressions are big for me. First impressions; nice, clean, & accommodating. After settling in, especially with children, opinions changed slightly. We have an 8mo. that is crawling everywhere. After just a short time, his socks were filthy. The floor looked clean but wasnā€™t. Then our 3 year old was exploring on the top bunk of the bunk beads. She discovered a half drank water bottle tucked in between the mattress and frame. Therefore, this tells me the sheets werenā€™t changed. That has me wondering about other things. After unpacking, we found some underwear in the top step storage box. After doing a load of laundry, we found a 5T pair of pants next to the dryer. My opinion is this has nothing to do with the property manger, but rather about the cleaning company that is used for a whopping $150 per lodging. Finally, per a previous review we read, Yes, the beds do creek. With children, it was 3 stars at best. Just adults, I can look past the uncleanliness to an extentā€¦..if everything else was actually cleaned.

Wonderful cabin retreat!

This cabin was very nice, cute, clean, and comfy! It had everything we needed, we loved the hot tub, and it had enough seating and bedding for our group of 8! The teens loved the upstairs loft. It had a queen bed and a bunk bed with trundle (3 twins) although we didnā€™t need the trundle. We loved the nearby hiking and grateful head pizza! Broken bow is a beautiful place to visit!

Great location, beds not so much

We were very impressed upon arriving until we went to bed and all of the beds creaked so horribly anytime you moved. The pool table upstairs was pretty dirty and pretty beat up. Two of the chairs surrounding the campfire were broken. Donā€™t know if the owners even know about these issues. Other than that we had a good time. Spent most of the time outdoors.

A perfect getaway!

We had a great time. The playground was perfect for the 3 year old. And we loved the big table that we could gather around for games and meals. Comfy and nicely decorated. Took us a while to find the book with the instructions/WiFi password, but manager responded to messages. Although not the properties fault we were awakened by a cabin build early one morning directly across the street. That just tells you how popular the area is. Bringing more buildings to the area. Thanks for the stay, we enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful experience. More beds than we expected. Two large bedrooms downstairs plus queen size bed upstairs and bunk beds upstairs! Enough space for two families with kids but we were only one family. Pool table and shuffle board in one, pac man arcade game, TVā€™s in every room, play scape, hot tub and fire pit with stocked wood. Very clean, all appliances worked. Quick response from mananagment company. Great location walking distance to Grateful Head pizza and many stores nearby. 5 star experience! We will rent here again!

Perfect for families!

We had a great time at Lifeā€™s A Hoot! We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and playground! The PAC-man was a hit too with all ages! The kitchen has it all, like best stocked kitchen we have had with VRBO! Lots of pots,pans, baking sheets! So nice bc we cooked a lot! Only complaints- Hand mixer didnā€™t work but no worries we used a whisk! Beds are so-so, maybe use some new mattresses downstairs but that could be personal preference! Overall 10/10 for this Cabin!

So we have stayed in several cabins in Hochatown and I have to say, this wins for BEST CABIN YET!! It was soooo clean, the beds were comfortable, the cabin was stocked with everything we needed, the neighborhood and street was quiet and peaceful! We loved the layout ! It was perfect for our family! The loft upstairs was amazing! My 8 year old had an absolute ball up there with the pool table, ping pong and air hockey! Everything was honestly perfect! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!

Great for family weekend!

Well furnished cabin, quiet street, everything you need for a family weekend ! Sleep 8 without using a sofa bed. Grill and hot tub could be upgraded but the cabin interior is nice and confortable. Would use again.
