"The cabin/location/ is an amazing place to stay, furnished with everything you need and some and the cleanliness was exceptional. David the host (promptly) answered any questions I may have had about the place before my arrival. The outdoor area is awesome along with plenty of firewood for the fire pit. I also enjoyed the neighbor that played the bagpipes at 5pm every afternoon that we were there. Just an amazing place Thank you David."

"The cabin was perfect for my husband, our dog and I. It had everything we needed. The area was breathtaking! We couldn't have asked for a better spot. It was quiet and the views were amazing. This was our first time at SML and we are so glad we visited. We hope to be back next year with my husband's kids and their spouses for a family vacation. "We had the most relaxing weekend in Cabin 2 at Cedar Key. The accommodations were perfect for me, my husband, and our terrier pup. Sipping wine in the sunshine on the dock, fall hikes, and even a couple of chilly swims were highlights of our stay. The cabin is small, but mighty, equipped with everything we needed for our getaway and then some. Thanks for hosting us! "

This is a three level property, so we did struggle a bit finding a balance in temperature for the third floor (warmer) and the first floor(cooler). "This house is a perfect getaway if you want to be active and use the lake or simply relax on the deck. It is so dog friendly with the dog yard - my dog and I played out there a ton! We were able to cook our meals and just hang out on the deck and enjoy the views. The state park entrance is around the corner and we enjoyed hiking in the mornings. Great house! "
