"This space is clean & private, excellent for one person, would be tight for 2. Everything is well-marked and easy to figure out. There is a binder with thoughtful suggestions of where to eat and what to do in the area as well as a bicycle to use around this bicycle-friendly town. The private yard is a little soggy though was welcome given the sunshine we got in the morning. Many thanks."

"We were very comfortable in this space. If only it was warmer and we could have had coffee on the patio. As is common in N California, the smell of mildew was very prevalent in the bathroom and bedroom, but it wasn't a deal breaker. But we loved being able to walk just down the street and walk the dunes and beach. The neighborhood was very quiet and the location was easy to locate and a good starting point for our visits with family."

"This was the perfect place for us to stay at while we were visiting the area. It was a central location to be able to do day trips to Eureka, Arcata, Trinidad and Fern Canyon. The house had everything we needed and a beautiful backyard. The street is pretty dark so be careful when driving. The listing is accurate. "Our daughter and 8 year old twins live in Eureka and we came up to treat them for Thanksgiving. The kids got their own rooms and so did their mom. My wife and I took the downstairs bedroom. The house has everything one could wish for in a rental. We were thoroughly impressed with the beds, bath, kitchen and our host who brought a new TV while we were there. Great place."

"A clean and maintained property. The proprietor seems to put a lot of effort into making it welcoming and livable. I enjoyed having a full kitchen and basic ingredients (spices, cooking oil, coffee, tea, etc.) without having to buy full quantities. Some older details need work like the shower faucet. It was tricky to figure out how to change the temp. Loved having a laundry facility and free parking! All in all a great little spot to call temporary home. Would book again. "
