Spectacular and full 2 - Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Villa. Rental by Owner, for those vacationers who require a large living space, located in Fairway Courts Complex, considering this the Best Section in Palmas del Mar Residential and Resort Community. Just 45 minutes from the San Juan International Airport and Old San Juan.

This Villa is fully equipped. The Master Room has a King bed and its own bathroom, with sliding doors facing the Terrace and pool view. The guest room has 2 Twin beds with an 1 extra Folding Twin Bed, a full bathroom , a small kitchen and a small fridge in the second bathroom with and independent door. The Villa also has a big kitchen with all utensils, pots, pans, small appliances, Fridge, dishwasher, Washer and Dryer. Linens and towels available. Welcome packet with starter: 1 roll toilet paper per bath, hand soap and shower gel on dispensers on both baths, dish soap on dispenser, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 handwipe, 1 sponge, 1 roll paper towel, trash can with one bag, 2 pods laundry detergent. Guests will need to refill all those essentials for their personal use among with their personal products. You may find a few clothes hangers but not guaranteed. Also Included a Sofa Bed. WIFI, (2) 4 Smart TVs . Total of 1,700 Square feet Villa. Sleep 6 adults or 5 adults and 2 children. Not prepared for handicapped, second floor Villa with multi steps inside.

You will be next to the Tennis Club Courts, facing hole number six from one of the 18 Holes Championship Golf Courses, The Flamboyan course and The Palm course, designed by Rees Jones and Gary Player.

Walking distance from the Casino and more than two miles of sandy beaches within the Resort property, more than 12 Restaurants and Bistros, full service Marina, Deep Sea Fishing/SCUBA charters and complete equestrian center.

Just 30 minutes away from the town of Fajardo where you have Ferry service to Vieques and Culebra islands, you can also have the choice to take a boat from Palmas del Mar for trips to Monkey Island, Culebra , Vieques, Palomino , Palominito, offering unspoiled, pristine, white sand beaches.

There is NO doubt that Puerto Rico is the ultimate destination for GOLF in the Caribbean. As of today, there are more than 23 golf courses in the Island including a new PGA course.

Simply beautiful
This location is perfect. The condo/villa is clean and basically overlooks the beautiful pool. Walking distance to a lovely beach with very few people. very safe location as you enter through two gates to get to your unit. Having a rental car made it easy to get to grocery stores and all over the island. Master bedroom is large and the bed is comfy. The kitchen Is a nice size and was very clean.

Christmas holiday
Our family enjoyed staying at Palmas del Mar over Christmas. The place is a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking although the resort offers a lot of dining options as well.

The most beautiful house in the resort
We had a lovely experience this past week. We went to Puerto Rico for a wedding and found the most beautiful place in Humacao. The hosts, my security, all personnel Were wonderful. The furniture, beds, view, everything was absolutely exquisite.

Amazing Property!!!
This was a wonderful villa in Palmas. It made our honeymoon a unforgettable experience! Property manager was easy to reach and the staff was very helpful and polite. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to lots of restaurants

Nice Location; Unit Needs Attention/Clean Sweep
Palmas Del Mar is a beautiful resort area. The location of the unit was good, easy to find and close to the pool. The unit lacked cleanliness, dirty walls, dirty windows, cabinets, floors and closet space. Many of the windows did not open and the ones that did were a challenge. The Hurricane shutter was closed on the front bedroom for several days, we requested that it be opened, However, once the shutter was open the windows and door were nonoperational. When we arrive the closet door and towel bar were off. I notified management and had to call twice, finally repaired a week or so later. Patio curtains were old and could not be used. Unit needs maintenance. Cleaning fee is excessive given the condition of unit.

First time in Puerto Rico
Everything was great - Palmas is beautiful! Was disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen. I bought supplies and cleaned the grease off the entire stove, cleaned the outside of the dishwasher and refrigerator, scrubbed the sink and drains with cleanser and wiped down all the cabinets. There were ants on the counters the whole time. I did not clean the pantry, which needs to be done. Wish there were cookie sheets to be able to heat up a pizza or anything in the oven. Also, no washcloths and 2 hand towels. Overall great stay - could have been fabulous.

Very nice
Everything was great, just as advertised. The only thing I could recommend is that they have more supplies, toilet paper, plastic cups, dish soap etc. They seem to keep all this locked in a closet. Also kitchen towels, which we bought and left there.

Could Use Some Upgrades/Cleaning
The area/resort was nice, although there wasn't enough within walking distance--you need a golf cart for the resort. We had no idea we should have rented one before leaving for PR, and unfortunately for our teens, no rentals were available. This would be good to know on the VRBO website. The unit itself is outdated, & the kitchen is falling apart (the countertops are dented because of a poor installation, and they are not connected to the cabinets in some places.) The dishes were filthy--we had to boil pans with soap and water to get the food off before using them. The entire unit needs a thorough cleaning. We didn't have hot water for the first 3 days. Initially, the owner told us they'd just installed a new water heater and that it was set properly. After a few more texts, she had the property manager (who was lovely) address the issue and add a "booster." The issue was that their water heater wasn't large enough to heat an entire condo (my husband is a contractor and saw the unit). We travel a lot and have stayed in rental homes from Iceland, Rome, Hawaii and a slew of places in between. This condo wasn't the worst, but it is on the low end of places we've rented and very disappointing. Most hosts provide a book with things to do, how to access places (like the beach), etc., but this one did not. It would have been helpful. Also, less of an issue, but there were no batteries in the main TV remote. Overall, it could have been much better. I would not rent it again.

absolutely wonderful
The location was an easy drive with GPS from SJU airport. From the time we arrived to the time we left everyone was friendly and helpful. The condo was spacious, modern, well cared for, with a great view of both the pool and the mountains. Palmas is huge, I would recommend renting a golf cart even for a day to tour all of it. We didn't eat in Palmas much, there is a great food truck park a few miles out, and the food truck/stands along the streets are also a must. We traveled to Patillas by coast and the view was breath taking the entire way. We stopped at a local bakery to bring home goodies the day before we checked out. On check out day I made it to the airport and realized we forgot our goodies on the counter. The condo manager offered for his son to drive to the airport with our baked goods which goes to show the kindness you can expect. We will be back for certain.

PR fun
This is my 3rd visit to PR and love the island and people. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The space had plenty of room for 4 people and the pool was just below us. The beach was just okay, the seaweed season is here and the eastern side of the island got hit. So the beach was unswimable and had an odor for 1/2 our stay. Overall a good time and value

Great family friendly condo!
We stayed for a week over the kids spring break. The condo was exactly as described. Only thing is that the pics in the listing don’t do it justice! Felt above my pay grade. One minute walk to the big, clean quiet pool. Great view of the pool to keep an eye on the kids. Felt totally safe. Safe enough for the kids, 15 and 13, to walk to the plaza for ice cream and pizza. Warm sun on the balcony in the evenings. Had cooking gear for breakfast and a few dinners in. Would stay again for sure.

Beautiful villa
The villa was very beautiful and clean great for families, close to the beach and inside palmas del mar the only problem i had was that if you barely make any noise the neighbors downstairs will complain for any little noise you make like they left me a note saying i was moving furniture late at night which i wasn't because i would usually go to sleep around 9pm to get up early the only thing i would move is the chairs in the dining room to sit and eat even then i would mostly pick them up so they would make noise besides that noise complain everything else was great!

Pros: Plenty of room and right by the pool. Lots of restaurants on site. Parking right out front. Very secure. Check in/out was easy. Grocery / Stores close by. Cons: Twin mattresses were SO hard and uncomfortable. No mattress pads or top sheets on any beds. (mattresses were clean but still seemed odd) Short brown hair was everywhere. Refrigerator was not clean. Could not adjust temperature and it was cold. Dirty sock found in end table of master bedroom. Tons of ants by master bed. Palmas Del Mar property is absolutely beautiful and certainly well maintained. Navigating it took some effort, however. Just a suggestion to maybe consider leaving a property map or some tips for renters. It would really be helpful for people not familiar with the area. Parking at Palmanova Plaza was very difficult and service at all of the restaurants we visited was definitely sub-par. It’s unfortunate because there is so much potential for it to be a really cool place. The beach was very nice but we wouldn’t swim because of the rip currents. It was a great place to just hang out for the day though. We bought a day pass for $35 to hang out at the Wyndham on our last day. We understood that there was also a casino there but we were told it “isn’t working right now”. All in all I would stay at Palmas again.

Palmas Del Mar is a nice resort and we felt very safe there. The condo itself was fine but could definitely use some new supplies like nicer sheets and bedding, towels (no hand towels to be found), kitchen supplies. While we only did minimal cooking, there was not even an oven mit or a kitchen towel to use. The grounds of the condo are very nice and the pool area is comfortable and relaxed. Overall we enjoyed our stay in PR and appreciated having a quiet condo to relax in after long days of exploring.

Villa generally met expectations. Non-working microwave was replaced within hours of notifying. Major downside, however, was the mattress (way too soft) and bed linen (way too thin). We recommend both be replaced/upgraded.
