Beach Front Paradise

This private, peaceful and sunny beach house is walking distance to the beach. and it is also the property that has the most 5-stars reviews in the entire town of Humacao, which fills us with great pride because that means that I am doing a good job with my guests. Located in Villa Palmira, Humacao this beach front paradise is fully furnished with all amenities, fully air conditioned, surveillance cameras outside de property for more security, wireless-internet, washer and dryer and private pool (Pool Service every week) About 10 minutes away from the house you can visit Palmas del Mar Resort where you will find a Hotel and Casino, restaurants, golf course, tennis courts and you can rent a boat to go fishing or to know about the smaller islands in the surrounding area. Just 45 minutes drive you have the historic walled fortress city of Old San Juan. The tropical mountain El Yunque Rainforest and the beautiful Surfing Luquillo Beach(La Pared) is a 40 minutes drive. El Faro Lighthouse Museum and Las Cabezas Nature Reserve (bioluminescent mangrove lagoon). Also don't forget to visit the small island of Culebra and its majestic Flamenco beach. The port towns of Fajardo and Ceiba, and boats hires for sailing/boating, snorkeling/scuba, fishing, and ferries to Culebra and Vieques Islands, at 5 miles. Be sure to go out sailing from Fajardo on the luxurious 50' yacht, drink& gourmet lunch included, to the small outer islands for great snorkeling. This part of the island was visited by many tourist because it has the best coral reefs and water clarity. and many more attractions and water sports.

Great family getaway
The property is conveniently located to all the comforts you need to enjoy your stay. Within walking distance to many restaurants and truly steps away from the beach.The home is well equiped and is very spacious. We were a group 6 adults and there was plenty of space to to relax. The home and the outdoor areas are very well maintained and have ample seating and lounging area. The 3 burner grill is handy and we made good use of it, as well as the swimming pool. Its location allows for full sun most of the day with 2 covered areas for shade.We enjoyed being close to the Reserve area for nature walks and kayaking, as well as the trails along the beach. The host was easy to contact and answers all inquiries promptly. Thank you to our host for making us feel welcomed in her home.

Just perfect
What a tremendous stay. This house was exactly as advertised. It was spacious, the pool was just right for our family, the beach was very close. With two small children (under one year, and 3 and a half), and six adults, the house suited us just right for a Christmas week away from our homes. Moreover, Norma was very communicative, and available whenever we had questions.

This property was awesome. Just like the pictures. Norma is wonderful to work with and helped to make our stay go smoothly. Our favorite was the front porch where we started and ended every day. This home will will not disappoint!!!

Mission Trip
We had a fairly large Mission Team come to Humacao to serve! We rented several houses to hold us all! The house was just as expected and had everything we needed! We did misplace one of the gate openers, but Ms Norma was super understanding and we were able to take care of getting that replaced! We will be back again next year, and look forward to staying here again!

Good location
The house and pool were clean. The location was good for us. We enjoyed having the opportunity to be around locals, and the places they eat and frequent. It was easy to go to the various tourist attractions & activities. The beach is not good for swimming, but the children thoroughly enjoyed the pool.

Beautiful and well ran
The property was incredible. The house is beautiful and everything was well thought out and organized. Check-in was seamless and the property manager was easy to get in touch with and helpful. We started every day going to to the beach then coming back rinsing off in the outside shower then swimming in the pool, then we would go in and make some food in the well supplied kitchen and then go see the island. This house is abutted to the Humacao nature preserve where you can go kayaking and hiking. We will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful house in a great location
We spent two weeks here and loved it. The house is roomy and well appointed, with a very nice pool, shaded sitting area in the enclosed yard, and plenty of indoor space. The house is about 100 yards from a great ocean beach. It is in a gated community that adjoins a nature preserve that features lots of walking, jogging, or biking trails away from the busy roads. We saw wildlife, including lizards and iguanas, but nothing to be nervous about. This part of the Southern coast, Humacao, is a bit off the beaten path of tourism, which we liked, while still offering easy access to all needed shopping just down the road. There are excellent eating places nearby. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. The property was immaculate when we arrived, and the owner was helpful and solicitous without being intrusive. I cannot recommend this place too highly.

New Year 2024
We had a fabulous time! What we saw online was exactly what the property looked like. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were comfortable. The beach was so close and water so warm that we went every day. But, we still took advantage of the in ground pool. The nature preserve was accessible from the beach and awesome for walks with the whole family. The gated community gave us a good sense of safety.

Beach Family Christmas Heaven
We took our grown kids on a Christmas trip to Puerto Rico. This house was a wonderful fit, giving each family their own bedroom. We loved the outside pool area where there were sun options and shade options to sit in. The washer and dryer was wonderful to have available. The beach was literally so close to walk to and I took advantage of walks there every day. This is a gated community close to shopping. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful stay
The house was comfortable and beautiful. the property manager was always available if needed. Although the beach is not for swimming, it was amazing for beach walks. They have a nature reserve a short distance from the house and the lookout view is amazing. I recommend this stay if you are looking for peace and relaxation.

Great stay!
Great location, gated in community. There is a historic landmark bunker hike right along the beach which is right along the Humacao Reserve. Nice short hike. Everything was included like described in listing. Pool and outside hang out was perfect. All that was needed for a kitchen was included. Which was perfect since we were not planning on eating out for all meals. We had glasses, mixer etc to make cocktails as well. We utilized the washer and dryer, just needed detergent was was no biggie! There was 3 couple and we each all had our own bathroom with shower which definitely was a plus!

Great pool & bbq patio, big house. Seaweed beach.
Overall had a fun experience and the owner is 5 stars, easy and no issues, even with a last minute change of dates, great host. The good: House is big enough for 12, great layout for groups, pool is great for kids, house and kitchen is well equipped, nice bbq and patio area, nice cold AC. The hiking path by the beach leads to the next door nature preserve which has great hiking/jogging trails, a cool lookout at El Morrillo fort up on the hill, and cool scenery. Could be better: Shower tile needs repairs or refinished, power outlets were flaky (at least 2 didnt work) and one was partly exposed, light in the main living room was very dim, and the bunk bed was squeaky. Beach chairs were very rusty /worn, backyard lounge chair cushion was a bit moldy. All of these were minor, and all could be ignored by less picky tenants. Also there was no pool table despite one is shown in the listing photos and prior reviews, but wasnt a huge deal for us. The not so good: The beach is 100% piled up with 1ft of dead seaweed and filled the entire beach and water (dont plan to swim or even hang out there, its nasty). This is no fault of the owner, and seaweed is typical of this side of the island, and unfortunately for us on this trip there was excessive seaweed. Overall, if you plan to hang out and swim and BBQ at the pool and hike by the beach and nearby trails, you wont be disappointed, but if swimming or hanging out at the beach is your thing, probably keep looking.

Loved the place!
We enjoyed our stay at Norma's place. The place was spacious and had more than enough accommodations for 6 adults. The neighborhood was peaceful throughout our stay. The pool was SUPER nice to have, especially since we were going through a heat wave. There were restaurants and a National Reserve very close by that we also enjoyed. We took time to visit a coffee plantation, Hacienda Muñoz, that was about 35 minutes away. It was a very beautiful and interesting place. Both times that I talked to Norma, as a "welcome" as a "goodbye" she was very nice and attentive. Thank you, Norma, for sharing your beach home!
