The house has one bedroom downstairs with a pull out couch in the living room. It has two double beds upstairs. There is internet access and Roku TV. There is a garage to park your snowmobile in overnight.
Less than a hundred yards from the Snowmobile trail.

The property is nice, great accommodation, lovely decoration and well maintained. The property has a fly infestation on the upper level. There is a garbage policy, that requires you to take the garbage with you otherwise you will be charged $25.

It’s a fixer upper
It looks like they are in the process of fixing it up. Missing a cover on an outlet right above the bed and some wires not covered. Also the boards in the upstairs were not secured in the floor. My biggest complaint was the listing. It said that there was a hot tub, which was false. Also it said that there was a double bed and a futon in the living, which was false. There wasn’t even a couch. There was a love seat and 2 chairs. My husband had to sleep in the recliner because of the false listing. Also, there was a bunch of stuff in the fridge. It was clean and it smelled good but I wouldn’t book it again! Plus it’s in the middle of no where!

No snow snowmobile trip
The house was perfect for us! Easy to find, and in a great location! The host has thought about everything and is very accommodating! We will stay here again! We had planned on snowmobiling but with the lack of snow we brought our side by side and still had a great tkmr!

Great host, easy stay - sometimes bumps are blessings
We stayed the weekend, family of 7 (adults +baby). Owner was great with communication and easy to work with through a few minor issues (not worth detailing, owner was fantastic to assist). Well stocked, plenty of clean towels and linens, washing machine and dryer… GREAT location in the heart of the eastern Upper Peninsula… within 30 mins of anything you want to see… Again: can’t acknowledge the communication and feedback of the owner enough… real easy to work with and offers full access to a lot of amenities most places don’t even consider (garage, bbq, fire pit, chairs, etc.)… One thing to mention: We were a little surprised to realize the pull out sofa wasn’t there (as mentioned in the listing), so we were down a bed… but we worked it out, my adult kids decided to slumber party on the downstairs floor like teenagers. If you like a cozy place to stay, this is your place!

Quiet and Comfortable
I was looking for a place to stay so my family could explore Tahquamenon Falls. This place was great for what we needed which was a home base for us to head out from. The home was stocked with plenty of dishes so we could cook our own meals. There was plenty of towels and sheets available for use and best of all, they were cleaned. We enjoyed having dinner on the unique dining room table and the kids loved sitting on the bench seats. We were about 35-40 mins away from the falls so that worked out well for us. The owner was also very responsive. I text a couple of questions to the phone number given and was replied to within minutes. I was very appreciative of that. The only things I would mention to renters is if you come, make sure you bring your own food as the nearest grocery story is in Newberry which was about 30 mins away. Not bad of a drive if you live in Michigan but it can be if you have been driving all day to get there. The other part I didn't realize was that this home didn't have any trash pickup so you literally had to take your trash with you. Thankfully, the owner was nice enough to work with me on that and coordinated with his house keeper. That was very nice of him because I would have had to take my trash home with me. Overall, it was a cozy little place that was great for my family and I. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay so they can explore the beautiful UP.

The property and cottage are ok... But their were several problems that we had to deal with. A very dirty refrigerator. With lots of expired food and empty bottles. So we cleaned it out. But I did not take that smelly trash with us when we left. The freezer has really old meat in it. there was four of us. And only 2 bath towels in the cupboard. Until yesterday I just happened to open the dryer and there were towels left in there. That smelled mildewy. We managed with a couple extra beach towels we had. TV in the downstairs bedroom didn't work. But by far the worst was a really dirty oven,With two old cooking sheets loaded with bacon grease!!! We kept smelling something bad in the kitchen. Case solved old, old bacon grease. I'm guessing you have a hired housekeeper. You might want to look in on her job. The closest in the downstairs bed was completely full of clothes... We couldn't hang up any of our items. I have pictures I will be sending also. It was very disappointing, plus we sent pics!!

Very nice
The property was as expected. They had more than enough extras in case you forgot something. Very comfortable for our family of five. The cove of homes was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we chose to stay in the same area.

Well equipped with some rough spots
The house is welcoming and had plenty of room for my family of five and our two dinner guests. It is well stocked and we didn't run out of anything. There are some safety concerns that should be addressed after a detailed message to the host. The house was very chilly when we arrived, there are fans to help move the heat around the house and up the stairs. Gas fireplace did pump out a lot of heat, floor registers were nice for drying our winter gear. Large flies continued to un-hibernate and find us upstairs and downstairs the entire stay. We did see deer in the back yard which the kids loved. location was good, but no close grocery store. recycling across the street. Happy Hour bar had great food and service.

Sweet Little Spot
Older house the owners are working to fix up. Super comfy recliner, awesome TV, big yard. Owners seem like very cool people and extremely accommodating. This was our base for visits to Whitefish Point and the falls. Would definitely stay again.

Just right.
We enjoyed this property location so much we extended our stay by 2 days. The property was just what we needed. They had wifi for my kids, roku for my husband and a completely stocked kitchen. There is a washer dryer for your use. My only suggestion for the cabin owner is perhaps a picnic table. The yard was beautiful, the grill is practically new, the garage was available for use if needed. Would definitely recommend.

Nice Place for a Relaxing Vacation
Pros: 1. Great, Consistent Communication from Host 2. We brought our own groceries but host has generously stocked their kitchen cabinets and fridge and left a note to use supplies, if needed. 3. Beautiful Location especially if you like driving a 4-wheeler (I don't care much for it but great for someone that does) Cons: 1. There is no AC if you are someone that runs warm like my husband. Fortunately when we went the nights were cooler so didn't bother us. It isn't on the listing but it's not something I thought I needed to ask 2. You have to pack and take your trash back with you. Again, not mentioned in the listing but told to me at the time of check in. For a pretty high cleaning fee, I thought this was unusual. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet, nice place and the cabin is wonderful. Host was helpful and communicative throughout.
