A guy who lived there was outside and let me borrow his phone, so I was then able to call and get instructions. There was apparently a key box, and they gave me the code. However, I couldn’t figure out how to open the key box, so I went back to that same guy, and, between the two of us, we figured it out. "Beautiful, peaceful and serene location. Be award that if the country sounds of roosters crowing will bother you- stay somewhere else. We enjoyed them, they are a part of our farm at home. You couldn’t ask for a more accommodating Host, in Annie. She was always available and willing to help with needs and answer questions. The Unit itself is eclectic and shows her vibrant personality in the colors on the walls! There is a need for a few upgrades that would help raise the level of comfort. Side...

"Slow drain in bathtub, there was ankle deep water before the water got hot for my shower. No air conditioning. There was A Lot of highway noise as we had to open up all the windows to get cooler air into the room. Early morning chickens were also quite in evidence. Very good restaurant on site. The bed was large and comfortable. "

"I didn't like the room location because it was near the highway. Late at night and early morning, traffic was noisy. The room was okay but the bathroom toilet needs an upgrade due to filling and flushing took many flushing and slow to fill. The bathroom sink leaked and there was no way for me to stop the leak. There was no internet for television and the remote control didn't work. There was no place for dining or order food nearby. The bed was very uncomfortable because it wasn't firm....

"We loved the prime location near the shallow south coast and the tropical west coast. We were not able to access Wi-fi while we were there, which was a frustration. The host did try to help us resolve it. I was warned ahead of time that WiFi in general on Molokai can be hard to get reliably so it didn't really affect our trip. Since the point of Molokai is to unplug and unwind, it actually ended up being a benefit."

"We started each morning out with a beautiful sunrise - what a treat to sit on our lanai with a cup of coffee while the sun rays streamed in. We appreciated the immediate access to walk out on the grass and explore the rest of the property. We made use of the pool, clubhouse and beach - all wonderful! And while we didn’t spend much time indoors, the bed was comfortable (great pillows!), bathroom well stocked, and kitchen was great. Overall wonderful stay. "The property is very close to town (one mile), the interior of the unit was clean, new and with modern appliances. I would definitely stay again. I liked the fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. There are many quirky features to adjust to. Needlessly complex for a rental unit, motion sensitive on/off for the kitchen faucet, and the lighting with dimmer that was more complex than on/off dim. "Best place to stay on Molokai!!"

"Nice and clean place with beautiful ocean views. Good kitchen setup with all the things you need to cook, and nice comfortable furniture. Snorkeling directly off shore on the south side of the island isn't really a thing though, just be aware. The outer reef offshore makes all the water close to shore grumbly and shallow and not the most inviting. But the waves are far away so the shorelines is nice and calm pretty much the whole time, which was beautiful. "

"We were so happy with the location but found our unit to be needing some TLC. The right side of the bedroom closet was not rolling. The silverware drawer had lots of crumbs in it. Some expected things the unit should provide are: bath bar soap, beach towels, and clean dish sponges since no dishwasher was there. The dish drainer had leaking issues, so water went on the counter. We bought a sponge to do our dishes with. Also, a bigger living area fan would be nice. The sliding glass door was hard...

"Wi-fi didn't work properly. Front didn't seem to care about that. We asked if we could be moved to a part of the hotel where the wifi was working, but they said everything was full, when it clearly wasn't - a lot of rooms were empty for our entire stay. Cleaning of the room left a lot to be desired. Our floor was really dirty for two days. Restaurant was great with terrific service. Room was nice and cozy."
